Was excited to try this one out, but my PC has some performance issues with UE so I couldn't get it to run yet. I don't think I will have time to figure out the issues and rate this by the end of the rating period, so sorry for that. But if you have some suggestions for how to fix it, I would try it again afterwards!

Also a quick suggestion on the starting scene, which is that it's unskippable, and it's quite long, so it feels pretty bad having to sit through it every time you boot up the game, so I would like to see you add a skip button to it :)

Developer(+1)

Sorry to hear! I hope that turning settings down to "Low" made it at least playable. It is ok though, it has all ended by now, but thank you for giving it a shot! (Yeah, the suggestion would be to go to settings => Graphics => Low)

The starting monologue in the rain, that happens when you boot up the game, that you can skip that by pressing "E", it says so right before the monologue comes in

From looking at your game Images, description and comments I rated it based on that!

Since windows marked the game as Malware (Trojan) which is a shame since now it wont let me play it however I bet your game is amazing!

Also Děkuju for your feedback for my game!

Developer(+1)

Sigh...

That breaks me. Goes without saying, but this game, is not, a virus :(. I understand that you know that, but it still aches to know that, beacuse it is an unreal engine game, anti-viruses treat it as a malware, and I have no idea why.

Děkuju to you, too for still giving me a rating!

Incredible work... water bottle achievement made me laugh xD

Developer

Thank you so much! :D

Couldn't download it due to virus protection I could not turn off, but managed to catch a stream. Fantastic work!

Developer(+1)

Sorry to hear, UE5 games, without licensing, are automaticly flagged by software like avast and such, I can understand why it may seem bad to download something, that is giving out many warnings, but I assure you, there is nothing malicious about this game, thank you for your review, even if it is from watching a stream, every review helps! Thank you once again and have a great day <3

Perfect rating! Amazing voice acting, entertaining yet dark story, and super creative way to fit the theme. I loved how frantic everything felt. The time pressure, the frantic speed of the character. You even managed to toss in a little joke to add some humor to the tense situation. My only feedback is the timer should have been 1m 30s or maybe even 3m! That time window is TIGHT and took me SEVERAL tries to beat the game (and macros didn't work to rapidly press all the possible buttons LOL), but it was SOOO worth it. I feel like a lot of people are going to give up and that sucks because this game is SOOO good. Despite being a bit frustrated restarting a lot, I still enjoyed myself the entire time. Wonderful work! Best game I've played in this jam by far. The message at the end really showed your passion for the craft as well. Hope you do great in this jam my friend!

Developer(+1)

Thank you SOOO much for your amazing and constructive comment! I am really glad that you liked Abigail Kim's and mine's voice acting! <3, I very much agree, the game is pretty hard, especially the normal mode, but the minute is pretty important, however, instead, I though about the player needing less cloth to succeed, like 8, intead of 12. But thank you for finish it, it is true that the ending has a lot of content (including the actual implementation of the jam's theme), that people may skip over, because of frustration, didn't really think that part through :(. Thank you for keeping a positive feedback about it! Very lovely words from you, and I hope your game does great in this jam as well buddy! Have a wonderful day <3

Submitted(+1)

Love the idea of less cloth needed! You could just have a few of the windows not have curtains and perhaps 2 shirts in the drawers instead of 4. Definitely going to play your other games after the jam! Be prepared for more comments from me on those haha

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I will also try your previous projects! The Grave Robber was such an awesome entry, it would be really cool to see what else you can manage! Thank you again, and I agree, the game is going to be nerfed after the jam, thank you for your recommendation <3

Good game and art design. Monica was very unhelpful.
Normal mode feels almost impossible, it requires good button mashing and keyboard skills which most people don't have. And having a nice keyboard probably helps.

Felt like you managed to do a lot in such a short period of time, very impressive.

Excellent work, well done!

Developer

Thank you so much! Monica was frozen in fear!!

Normal mode is pretty hard, you really need to have fast fingers. I always suggest playing the simplified mode, until you finish the game, know your way around it, and then try the normal mode.

Thank you for your overall very sweet comment! <3 And great job with reaching the ending!

Submitted(+1)

Really cool game! Loved the story, visuals and atmosphere, felt immersed into the setting and feeling the pressure, which isn't easy to do with such a short game, appretiate the cool achievements and difficulty options for accessibility, great voice acting too, one of the highest production levels I've seen in this jam! Could easily see this kind of game on steam with more time to add even more content!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much, I'm glad that you got the game working! The voice acting was fun to do, but it would likely not be added at all if it wasn't for the wonderful Abigail Kim! I will likely not continue with this game, given that our little group has their own games, notebly "Play Things" that we want to continue updating and also release new long titles, but still, thank you for your generous comment! <3

I really enjoyed this game, the voice acting, sounds, visuals and overall atmosphere and pressure were great!

Did that! Thank you for checking my game out <3

I think your game is very inventive and indeed difficult but not impossible. The voice acting was also very good. I would recommend it to everyone I know!

Developer(+1)

Thank you, that's really nice to hear! <3

Submitted(+1)

It was fun but hard

Developer(+1)

Yup! The simplified version was not even added, but the testers did mention that I should make it easier, at least until you find out what you need to do. With the simplified verison, every tester was able to finish it, with ~15 seconds left on the timer! I'd say the gameplay loop is kinda like geometry dash, if you played that, you start over, and get further, until you finally reach the end. Thank you for saying that it is fun <3

Submitted(+1)

You're welcome! Keep it up!

Submitted(+1)

Great voice acting but that seems to be it. No matter what I tried there was not a single different outcome. Not really sure what the loop is supposed to be or how I'm supposed to progress at all since dying doesn't seem to do anything.

Developer

There are two endings, one is just a different way to fail. You can escape the house if you do a series of actions (the order does not really matter, outside of the time spent). You have 60 seconds to repeat this sequence and slowly find more and more to find the way outside. If you can not find the ending, I recommend playing on the simplyfied difficulty, and just walk around the house and see what you can interact with.

Submitted(+1)

I did that. I really couldn't find much. There was not a lot to interact with, for me at least.

Developer

I was not going to give hints, but here: Go to the couch (sofa), move it, search it as well, behind the couch is a window, interact with it. Use the coin you find in the couch on the vent in the bathroom. I will not say more, hopefully the window will tell you exactly what you need to do to progress

Submitted(+1)

Alright thanks, I'll try that

Submitted(+1)

Loved it! Reminded me of 12 Minutes a lot and also weirdly enough Sumotori Dreams. Great work! I'd also love if you gave my game a try

Developer

Thank you so much! Sumotori Dreams! That's a wild compression xP, but again thank you, and I have gave your lovely game a try, it was great! Thank you again <3

Submitted(+1)

I love the visuals! I found the front door key and immediately opened the door for the cops ^^; I'll admit, after several tries I still don't know what to do. BUT the controls are great and the voice acting is fantastic!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! Yeah, the game takes a couple of tries to understand what you need to do, you keep learning and learning! I will be posting a full walkthrough of the game after the game jam is fully over. Thank you so much for playing! <3

Submitted(+1)

I'll definitely revisit it!

Submitted(+1)

Loved the aestethic! Such a vibe, well done :)

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! It really means a lot to me <3

This brought me vibes from game called 12 minutes. Great graphics and voice-acting was on point. Good job!

Developer

Thank you so much! <3
