Perfect artwork, perfect music – I absolutely love it. Could you make the kitten spawn on the platform instead? This issue caused me to die repeatedly!

Awesome game! it gives balatro vibes too, and its very polished. there is only one tiny note I have, which you can ignore if it was intended, when i got the two platforms thing, the cat falls directly between the two platforms, I'd have to move to avoid that, if it's intended for difficulty increase then it works just fine. other than this, very nice game!
yeah originally it was intentional, but most people really dont like it so I've got an update that fixes it for after the jam. Haha. I wanted some things in like death "taunting" you and being "unfair" but just didnt get time to add that in, so it just doesn't work. Haha.

wow thanks so much!! Haha. Yeah the mezzanines ended up being broken since some code I had to make them stay over platforms got removed when I added some other things and totally missed it. Haha. Glad it didnt make gameplay impossible though! Haha. Thanks for playing!! :D

That is a very fun game, but splitting platforms and still spawning in the middle is just evil. Still one of the best experiences in the Jam!

Really fun game, great sprite work and feels very smooth to play. I accidentally died right after Death appeared and didn't see them, so I played a second time because I wasn't sure how I won and felt it was undeserved. Spawning in the center when you get an extra platform is really mean though and I had multiple accidental deaths to that.
haha, yeah the spawning in the center was just a bad design decision. I have a fix ready for that when we can update the games. And yeah, I was running out of time, so I just made it so that you have to have at least 2 lives left and have to die to win once the waves have been completed. I wasn't sure how else to really handle it so I figured, why not! haha. Thanks again for playing!! :D
Definetely one of my favourite games from this jam! It's really polished and feels good to play. It's difficult but not impossible. I really love the different abilities and the pixel art

Really fun and polished game! The art style and descending reminded me of Downwell. I especially enjoyed how some of the upgrades gave you empty lives, the ability to regenerate lives, or sacrificing lives for bonuses. Really really clever! Honestly wished there was an endless mode just so I could play it for longer 😅

I had thought about an endless mode with a "highscore" card being introduced after defeating wave 9 (and you would get a point for every enemy that spawns and you don't die from), but just didn't have the time to implement it unfortunately. :( Thanks again so much for playing though!! :D

Such a cute game — congrats! It’s really beautiful, fun, and interesting! I found it a bit hard haha, and the jump makes it tricky to reach some platforms, but overall it’s a really good game. Congrats!
