I think this game shares a lot of the same strengths and weaknesses as the other RPGs Eris has made - the humor is great and so is the choice of music, but the gameplay is fairly dull - the enemies don't have a lot of personality when it comes to the way they fight, aren't very threatening, but tend to have a lot of HP for some reason, and so battle tends to come down to just pressing the basic attack command for like a whole minute. As for the visual designs, I liked the sort of washed-out look of the animal enemies and the battle backdrops, but I feel like the game might've benefited from the foreground of the areas you walk through not being so abstract. I feel like the plot sets up a bunch of things and then never goes anywhere with any of them (maybe that's the point?). I've always had a thing for the way Eris writes dialogue, and the music selection was very nice too.
