What a cool concept! I've never seen a game played with that kind of PoV. Its a bit difficult to move around but I feel like that adds to the whole experience, especially when you have to run away, it feels like you're just messing up and stumbling, which I feel would be what someone would feel if they experienced such a situation! Very fun!

Really cool concept! The point-at-self camera angle is a really novel concept, until I noticed that I could just walk backward. But the game really convey the "streamer exploring abandon place" theme really well. Great game!
The Camera Is Interesting, But It Might Be To Difficult To Control If This Were a Longer Game. I Also Wish The Monster Was Scarier With Some More Lore Or Build Up Behind Them. The Environment Looked Really Good Though And The Character Animations Worked Well.
Very interesting game! Its a pretty cool idea I think I've came across a couple streamer games in the game jam but I like how you went about your. The controls are a bit difficult but it's still very cool. Good atmosphere too! Great submission!
Yo, this was amazing! The camera movement system was a lot of fun to work around. :> I may have forgotten that left click changed perspectives though...which may have made it a bit harder in some parts. The only real issue I had was getting caught up on every metal grate on the floor (again, may have been my forgetting of a main mechanic). The antagonist was very freaky- I hated (in a good way) when it first snapped its head at me. Very good game! :>
Very interesting choices for the camera! Haven't quite seen it before. The controls took a bit to get used to. Good work!
This game seems like a winner. Unique mechanics, nice graphics, good sound design. I can already see it on Steam and Twitch. Great work.
The unique camera angle is SUCH a creative approach and so well done. I loved that you tried something new and innovative. For me, it was just too difficult to control and I found myself walking in circles. I really wish you could walk around while holding left mouse button. Great work!
Thanks for playing! I submitted an updated version a few days ago which allow you to choose FOV and light options which might make it easier to navigate. It was definitely the biggest challenge to tackle for this game, in retrospective and thanks to everyone’s feedback I now have many ideas about fixes to make it better.
But that’s what jams are for! :)
Oh, and I really enjoyed your game btw, so polished!
Really unique idea, loved the silly concept! Pretty hard learning curve but I enjoyed it a lot!!!! Chat as tutorial is really cool
Loved the creativity on display with this game! The streamer being chased by stream sniping demons is a unique take, and I feel this idea could be expanded on a lot. However, I did find the controls to be pretty confusing and overall felt like there was a lack of direction for what I needed to do beyond "get more views". Aside from that, great game!
This is an absolutely brilliant concept. And the way the audience reacts in real time, providing hints and context, is a really great piece of diegetic exposition.
That said... regrettably, I really could not get into playing this. It was grating against every single instinct I have developed over 30 years of playing videogames. 😂 Combined with the darkness, I wasn't really able to get very far.
This is so GOSH DANG CREATIVE. I hope you win just for the self person shooter pun you made in discord. I could gush and gush and gush about this game it is so unique!
I. was. so. scared, awesome game
This game is very unique and I got a really good jumpscare. Cool game !
I ran into a wall and got stuck and softlock, actual L streamer.
The game is pretty unique, the controls were a bit confusing at first, but they're pretty unique. The idea is pretty cool as well. The atmosphere is pretty spooky, the monster not so much, as they are basically twelve from street fighter, lul.
Overall it is a pretty good game, has a lot of potential
bro that monster got me a couple times with the head turns XD holy shit
Thank goodness chat told me to use mouse wheel, cause my camera was up my nostrils. The one time I appreciate chat backseating. For real though, this was my fav game so far in this jam. Once I got the hang of the controls, I was having a great time. Unique camera perspectives and chat riling you up the entire time was great. Hella good job!
so thats how you gain views 🤔 an actual horror game with a hilarious concept! the chat got me dead))
Having worked on a game that also deals with streaming, I really wanted to try it out!
The recreation of the “live urban exploration” atmosphere is very successful. The work done on the character’s face, with the eyes adjusting, the camera shaking while running… it’s really cool.
I see real potential in the viewers’ reactions to what the streamer shows on camera (as explained in the text on the wall). The fact that they react to what they see, but that some are lost, saying something like “drink water,” represents a live chat so well, haha.
Kudos also to the monster’s head, which can suddenly turn toward the camera at random.
Congratulations, this is a great way to explore the theme of streaming, and you’ve done it well!
