Cool music and visuals, but the gameplay didn't click with me that much. Reminded me of "Infinity Train" :D
You've got a really interesting idea here! The procedural generation never made anything impossible to reach in my runs and the train felt consistent so your generation seems to working great! Some of the jumps, like between train cars, felt a little awkward since something was blocking the jump from the start but it was still enjoyable!
It was nice casual fun, and the aesthetics are great. Could've used coyote time for a better experience, but overall I had a good time.
I struggled a little with the levels at times cause I didn't spot the holes in the floor, but I really like the concept of navigating an infinite train like this. The dynamic lighting adds a lot as well!
Wow I like the music and art. But it’s essential for 2D platformers to have a coyote time, without this the gameplay is frustrating.
Falling off the train is indeed a kind of horror experience. Pretty cool game!
It's really impressive that you managed to make procedural generation for a game jam, but the game itself feels kinda empty. Maybe there could be a slow-moving floating enemy, since at the moment it feels more relaxing than scary (unless that's the intended mood).
Also sometimes the game doesn't register jumps in your're on a platform's ledge looking the other way and turn around and jump at the same time.
Very great art, and very impressive that you made procedural generation in only 3 days!
The character is so cute! The atmosphere of the game is nice and relaxing with a hint of mystery about the train and the character. With only using 3 days of the jam this game is great, if you had more time to work on it I'm sure it would be amazing!
I really like the music used here, having fun seeing the other train-based games haha. The procedural generation was refreshing, and the mix of music and stars (and it being very late) made this game very calming to play.
Great work for just 3 days of the jam! I hope you keep working on this!
