The tension building is really well done. Playing it with headphones definitely enhances the horror experience, the sound design is great and quickly ramps up the creepiness. Good job!

Oh deer...

Interesting little game.

Keep up the good work!

It was difficult to understand what was required of me, but it seemed to me to be something similar to 99 Nights? (missing children/forest). Next time will be much better, believe me! Good luck to you.

You succeeded in doing what you wanted to do, you tried your best to build an atmosphere and despite it being predictable there was still a payoff to that atmosphere that you were building. Good job and keep making things!

the gameplay is a little difficult to understand

What part did you not understand and/how could I make it clearer for future games?

Yes... I too fell into the trap of the relaxing start and got jumped by the snake under the rock...

A little to repetitive and tedious for my liking, but it slowing getting darker and building tension was well done. animation were great especially the deer at the end. The snake gave me a bit of a spook as well.

I really like the little moments you had in there to build tension! The dear running across the screen, the jumpscare with the snake, and even the missing sign at the beginning all made my imagination race. I wish the main mechanic was a little more engaging, though. By the third set of pages I felt like I wasn't seeing the game do anything new.

I also would've loved more interactivity in the final point of the game. If I could try running away, even if it was to no avail, I feel like I would've left a little bit more satisfied.

I still think this was a cool interactive experience. Hope you had a fun jam! :)

Thank you for the input, I’ll keep it in mind for my next game.

Very fun for how few mechanics it has. I was so so invested in flipping rocks I forgot it was a horror game and it caught me genuinely off guard. The aesthetic is great and do yo have this game but with like double the rocks please you have created a necessity in me I am an addict give me my rocks
