Good job with the atmosphere! Very tense and unsettling!

This was neat. I would have liked to have the option to save or not, and to have seen the consequences of my actions at the end.. Instead the TV just stopped talking to me 🤷 I still enjoyed end regardless, got a solid oh! out of me!
This is one of the games I've played which went heavier into the story - and it worked out very well. I think the card game was very simple to play and "win" against the TV so I don't know if there were any special outcomes for losing but come to think of it that was probably intentional given that ending!
I knew that tv had something planned, never trust a tv that wants to pay cards! :D Nicely done!
Really enjoyed playing your game! The atmosphere is strong and the visual style pulled me in right away. I especially loved the changing-rules mechanic — it kept things fresh and kept me thinking. A couple of things felt a little unclear (like what exactly triggers the win state) but overall you’ve delivered something memorable for a jam build — nice job!
If you’ve got a moment, I’d love for you to check out my jam game too:

"... when I finished, I felt everything was building up to a big final scare or something, but then nothing happened and I couldn't do anything anymore. Idk if that was intentional or a bug, but it would've being cool if something happened right there...."
- exactly my thoughts here
Really cool atmosphere!
Happy to see another "I'm playing a game against a TV" game haha
I'd like the atmosphere and your concept! I'm not really sure if I won or not, but it was interesting.
Just in case: when I finished, I felt everything was building up to a big final scare or something, but then nothing happened and I couldn't do anything anymore. Idk if that was intentional or a bug, but it would've being cool if something happened right there.
All in all, great experience. Good job!
creepy atmosphere :) I think I "won" all but one, but we were not sure if that was actually winning. Did the dialog just end after the reveal or was there something else to do?
Nice game i like the atmosphere created. Only i felt like the text and the cards where not really in sync, i mean that i could pick a card while the tv was still talking and he picked his card before he was done talking which was a bit weird. What was also not apparent(to me at least) is that rules did not stack when only treats needed to be selected suddenly the highest card won again while i expected it would be stacking rules upon rules so you have to remember more.
But i really enjoyed the game well done
Interesting game. This felt to me like abstract art. Or like one of those interpretive plays where you come out feeling like you learned something but you're not sure what. Very interesting vibe. Definitely a creepy atmosphere. Well done with the creepy TV.
I did not get the story. Like there was one but I was confused as to the ending. Like others, I was unclear if the rule changes were cumulative. Sometimes they seemed to be and sometimes not. Though perhaps that was the point. Overall the experience was like the game Green Glass Door, where the point of the game is to torture the people who don't know how the game is played until they get it - which TBH I hated those games. The game just wasn't for me.
Solid work on creating a game loop and creepy atmosphere. Very interesting experience.
I talk about it in my Skele-Tom Post Mortem DevLog. basically, my brother had a better video card sitting around and had been offering it to me for like a month. The first Saturday of the jam, we both had time and it should have been a quick upgrade. Instead, the card caught fire. It was like a candle flame size. The card, motherboard and power supply were ruined. We had to rebuild my whole computer from scratch with new parts.
I really really liked the look of the game. I see you got it somewhere but it looks really nice. I didn't really understand the story. But I think it was meant to be a little abstract so maybe that was intended. I will also say I think I got a bug or something because I got to the point where it was asking me to only select treat cards and lower cards so I selected the lowest treat card and it said that I got it wrong. But I also don't know if I misunderstood and only 1 modifier applied at a time? Unsure. But I think having some sort of indicator showing what the rules are would be helpful. I was a bit confused at points
Some good atmosphere, and the constantly changing rules keeps you thinking. Good Job!
The creep factor is presented well. Solid use of atmosphere
I really like this game, especially its aesthetics and atmosphere. The idea of changing rules isn’t new, but it works really well here. Great job!
