Okay this rules, did you make the sprites and music yourself??? Everything here is so cool, no notes!!!

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much!

I am but a humble programmer; The sprites and music are actually pre-made assets by other people.

Okay I was gonna say haha, doesn't detract at all though, this is the most fun I've had with any game from the jam

Awesome game :D This is a creative take on the snake theme. It makes a lot of fun too build your own space fleet of doom XD Sadly one of my middle ships got destroyed and the ships behind it decided to abandon our glorious quest of destruction! Would have been nice if they would just have closed the gap.

Developer(+1)

Great to hear you enjoyed my submission!

Alas, the pilots of the ships are cowards, and will immediately flee should the ship in front of them be destroyed.

Excellent polished game! Kudos for pulling this one on such a short time frame!

Not sure about turn based but if this goes to Steam, you already have my money!!

Loved it!

Developer

Thank you very much for the high praise!

The turn based part did not work out as well as I hoped... but it kind of works :)

Absolutely brilliant game. No way was I expecting something this cleverly designed in such a short period of time, I love your spin on "turn based" tho I can understand the comment from those who just hold the buttons down why it might not feel that way, it feels kinda like a tactical pause every move. I was 4th on leaderboard after my last run... wish I had time to implement a leaderboard in my game too! 💛

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the kind words!

The tactical pause turned out a bit different to what I had imagined in my head; For some reason I thought it would play out as the player firing as a turn, and the enemies then moving. However, I think it supported the gameplay in the end, and I shall challenge all who say otherwise! :)

Congratulations on your highscore of 2100!

Neat game! though i didnt really find utilizing the "turn based" element all that much

Developer

Thanks!

The turn-based element is meant to be useful when you get later in the game and your snake of ships is long. You can "pause" the game to plan ahead and prioratise which enemies you should kill.

I’ve reached 2400 points, wow! Congrats on the design, this game could become seriously addictive in the long run, it’s really nice and polished!

Nice highscore!

Happy to hear you enjoyed my submission.

The game is incredibly polished and I really like the inspiration taken from the original Snake. Also the UI is really cool.

Got #9

Developer

Cheers!

Glad to hear you liked my UI design. I'm always unsure if I am doing that bit right when making games ;)

I like concept of the powerup ships forming a snake.

Developer

Thank you!
