Very relaxing game. Like another commenter has said I do like the fact that you can actually choose to engage with the game or not haha.

Personally, the visuals can feel mismatched. Having "realistic" water shader is fine in a pixel game, I have seen it before, but I guess this one make it feel kinda off. The broom also feel off from the rest of the assets that you used.

I would have liked it better if you had let the broom being able to move while it's sweeping. Making it completely stop every time you want to sweep make the game feel too rigid and disruptive. I also would have liked to see the leaves gave more feedback when they are being swept. I guess players could figure out quickly that it takes 2 sweeps for the leaves to completely disappear. But when I play the game for the first time and I sweep the leaves and then see it doesn't react at all, I was confused about whether or not this leaves was interactable etc. Having it spawn some simple particles could have been nice.

I enjoy the item descriptions and the little side stories.

Thank you for the feedback, I actually agree with all of it!

Cool idea! Quick to pick up and play with cozy fall vibes for sure! :) and I found a Vroom Vroom :)

It would be nice to have a game hud so you could track the number of leave patches you have swept up (score) and the items you find along the way. Perhaps some kind of multiplier score - but perhaps all this goes against the cozy vibe. Great work

I also love the game name :)

Glad you enjoyed it, and thank you for the feedback! I considered adding at least a counter for the leaves & an inventory for the items found. But I revised & reduced the scope of the game every day, so they didn’t make the cut.

Totally understand! I barely made the submission hehe.

Really simple but satisfying game. I love the broom walking animation xd Also the water animation is kind of a cool effect, maybe a bit daring mixed with the pixel art but I think it works. Overall good job! :)

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. I was very determined to add a water shader, but I agree it looks off. I would have gone with some sprites instead.

Glad you enjoyed it!

The lighting effect is very neat and the items you found all around the map are really funny.
Well done ✨

Swish swish!

Really pleasant controls and a charming concept — I found quite a few items, though I didn’t have the patience to clear the whole area 😄

Great job with the lighting and animations! I noticed how shadows behave around objects, and it looks very polished.

One small thing: on my 2K monitor, the image looked a bit blurry — possibly due to resolution scaling or texture compression? Might be an engine limitation or just some setting that went off.

Still, I totally felt the vibe of being a magical janitor — and that’s something I didn’t know I needed in life. Great work!

Hey, thanks for the feedback, and I’m happy you enjoyed it. It’s strange to hear about the resolution problem. I tested it on 2560x1440 and on 1080p and it looked fine. I wonder what’s different in your setup.

Can I please ask you to share a screenshot of what is blurry, and your screen's resolution? I would love to have a look at what causes it.

Edit: if you mean the text at the very end, then I know what the problem is; it’s caused by improper scaling of its parent node. I implemented that screen at the very end, and didn’t have time to deal with it correctly. But still, it would be nice to know if the game is blurry in other areas :)

Here’s how it looks for me in browser — usually in pixel art games I expect every pixel to have clean borders, but here it feels kinda soft/blurry. It jumps into my eye and I already imagine my pixel art friend scolding me for not noticing it 😅
In Unity I sometimes get same thing when sprite filtering or compression is enabled. I always need to manually turn off all the default stuff for pixel art

Developer

Thanks! Godot also has the same settings, so I’ll have a look to see if they’re enabled.

Super cute! Love the idea of little broom just cleaning up leaves. I also really liked the funny items that you find, that added a lot. The cozy fall vibes were also perfect. Good job!

Very clean presentation, nice music and satisfying sfx choices. I liked the lightshafts idea. The water shader felt a little out of place in this artstyle - maybe more pixelization and less contrast would get it there? Broom animations were great though, good job!

Developer

I appreciate the feedback, and I agree with the comment about the water shader. Thanks for playing & sharing your thoughts!

Relaxing game, I had fun and got a few laughs, especially when I found the moon and read the description for it lol.

I think the water was a bit jarring as it didn't fit the rest of the game's look. Also, the sharp edges of the ground at the edges of the water looked kinda rough.

Good job overall, it's super awesome how you managed to make a game about sweeping so enjoyable.

Thanks a lot, I’m glad you found it enjoyable :)

And I appreciate the feedback. I might fix up the game a bit after the voting period, and this is very good & actionable.

Ohh, if you do get around to updating it, I'd love to play it again and see. :)

I’m not a fan of games that are sooo slow, but it completely respects the theme, a resounding 10.

Developer

Funnily enough, I’m not either! I hope to make more dynamic games in the future. Thanks for playing!

I love the lighting effects around the brooms! Also those are some unexpected things you can sweep up haha.

Developer

The lighting was one of the final additions, I’m glad I had time to implement it. Glad you enjoyed the items, and thanks for the feedback!

I really love the broom animations and the whole concept! I found two items under the leaves hehe! It takes a bit of time to clear them all, so it’s nice that you can skip some; but honestly, I could spend hours cleaning just for the satisfaction and the joy of listening to the music. Congratulations!

Developer

Glad you liked it. There’s 10 in total, and all are guaranteed to spawn each time you play :) Thank you!
