Oh, it´s only one sprite causing problems, because the name of the file has a special character and the browser has problems for use it.
You can play the Gd Games version (https://gd.games/kolde/the-cosmic-postman-and-the-sec), free of this problem (with only a stupid bug; if you die in the first level, you’ll respawn in third level, hehe).

Hey, bro!! Yep, it´s a very interesting project, I wrote a feedback there ;)
In my game, I made a mistake. I linked the death in level 1 to a respawn in level 3. So, in order to play the game enterely, you can’t die in level 1 hehehehe.

El bug en el sprite es porque (me acaban de decirlo en otro comentario) el html no acepta nombres de archivo “non UTF-8 Encoded characters”; vamos, que no representa sprites que tengan caracteres especiales en su nombre de archivo. Me pasa con un sprite de la cara Kawaii que le puse al planeta y al sol.
Si lo jugais en la versión Gd Games ahí si carga el sprite correctamente: https://gd.games/kolde/the-cosmic-postman-and-the-sec (la experiencia es mucho más divertida y cercana al original)…

About the sprite, you can play the same version in Gd Games (https://gd.games/kolde/the-cosmic-postman-and-the-sec). I don’t know why, but the html version in itch.io fails to represent some Kawaii faces, but the same version in Gd Games works perfectly…

But, no, I was checking the project to search the name of the files that are being failing, and there are like “Visage Peur” or “Visage 4”… Nothing with “non UTF-8 Encoded characters”, neither the names of any files, I think. I’ll do more tests after the jam to discover what is happening.
Update: You are a genius!! Yes, there was one file with of the kawaii faces with a special character!!! This is the problem. I will contact if I can upload an exe version of the game… But I think that the Gd Games version will be enough.

Hehehe, you are right, a lot of people need more pacing and speed. In the next update I will add more maneuverability :P
Thank you for the complete feedback. I appreciate a lot your comments and I’m glad you liked my project ^^ I spent a lot of time looking for resources and assets to make the visual and audio sections attractive.
Yep, you are right. The flat effect was the best option I had. I would prefer a white recolorize effect and some particles of “teleporting”, but I was running out of time and this little things, for me, with my limited experience in coding, take me a looot of time.
When I return home, I’ll play your project too ^^
