Love the combination of tetris and mycelium. The puzzles are well designed and challenging. I had a lot of fun playing this, good work!

Very nice and engaging game! I like the tutorial and the levels are challenging… and the music is relaxing =)

Good job!

Developer

Thank you for playing! I'm glad you liked it :)

Really professional feeling. I loved the way you panned down from the menu to the game and it was a well-made and thorough tutorial. All around, this is a really solid game :) And I enjoyed playing it!

Developer

Yaay you're the first person to mention the menu transition, I thought it would be a fun idea, glad you enjoyed!

I have really enjoed by the way you combined mechanic. I'm really want to fip tile sometimes, but this not a real problem!
That was fun to play and hear good sound effects. Great job, cool entry!

Developer

Another person suggested the flip tile option so I'm going to experiment with that for future iterations of the game, thanks for the feedback!

This was super well built. I kept getting frustrated at not being able to finish the levels and being too stubborn to turn the difficulty down, but just couldn't get myself to stop playing haha. Well done!

Developer

Haha I actually felt the same playing through on hard mode, "just one more try, this time I'll get it" xD

As someone deeply obsessed with both mycelium and tetris, this idea has really latched on to my brain. I'd love to see this fleshed out in to a longer game, but I enjoyed my time with it nonetheless. The art is really satisfying, and the SFX really landed well with me. Thanks for making this, great work!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed the game! I originally wanted to create 20 levels but I was running short on time for the jam submission window. I'll be creating a full version with new modes in the future though!

Had a good time playing through! Very chill and well designed puzzle game. I was surprised to find that on restart the pieces were different, as I had assumed they would be predetermined, but the randomness did make re-attempts more unique!

Developer

Thanks for playing!

Played all the way through! The music was chill and the gameplay was fun and relaxing! Maybe a flip tile button would be a good addition, didn't find any bugs and it was pretty fun! :D

Developer

That is actually a brilliant suggestion! I will test that idea, thank you so much!

Super cool way to bring together a familiar mechanic and an interesting and new way to use it. I never would have paired tetris style blocks with fungal growth but they work quite nicely together! I loved the pixel art and the music. Excellent entry and well done! Thanks for making and sharing it :)

Developer

Glad you liked it! Thank you!

Really appreciated the tutorial, which helped me jump into the game quickly. The music was catchy and I liked the SFX!

I also enjoyed the mycelium network / fungal take on the theme. It reminds me of a free form tetris - like tetris but with way more freedom to experiment and build. The core loop felt hypnotic and calming. I felt like I was in a trance playing it, which was very fun. Even though the last level took me a few tries, I wasn't even frustrated, I just wanted to keep pushing and trying, and when I finally won it was a great feeling.

Overall just a super fun game!! Great work on this!

Developer

I'm so glad you enjoyed it, thanks for playing! :)

this is one of my favorite games ive played from the jam so far, its super well polished, and the gameplay is really addicting. i didn't finish all the levels as they can get quite difficult, but id like to double back to this later, its difficult in a good way.

i think this one has a ton of potential to be expanded into a full game, the one thing i'd really focus on is sprucing up the art a bit. the gameplay is great, the music and sounds are perfect for the kind of game this is, but the art feels a bit plain. still i must stress how well done the rest of the game is, you've got something great going here!

besides what i mentioned, add some modes, add more content, perhaps introduce some new mechanics and i think you would genuinely be able to sell this as a full game. outstanding job!

Thank you so much for the kind words, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I actually do plan on creating new game modes and further polishing the game, adding new levels etc. I am considering hiring a graphic designer as I am more of a programmer myself and most of the art was creative commons art minus the mushroom pack which I paid about 5 bucks for because I loved it. The rest was done in Aesprite by myself but art definitely is not my strength xD

Again, thank you for playing and your helpful feedback!

Fun and bright pixel work! Mixing tetris and mycelium networks is very clever. This was a lot more challenging than I expected!

Developer

Glad you enjoyed, thanks for playing!

Simple yet fun puzzle game. I like the twist on using Tetris in combination with fungus. spreading under the earth. The difficulty was fine for a jam game, I had to retry only two levels, the rest I went through with first try.

Maybe as slightly improvement you could have like 3 tiles as a option to choose from, allow the player to better plan their steps. However for me the preview of next tile was good enough to go.

Developer

Thanks for the suggestion! I will definitely consider this

Great idea and execution, game feels like solid puzzle game!

I admire how much you put effort to build art and animations around the core gameplay and tutorial!

I have some worries about RNG in game, that could caused that i couldn't really find good solution. Maybe some way to roll dice to randomly choose other block?

Congratulations on your first submission!

Developer

Thank you! Yeah the game could use some more balancing in some levels, I was thinking something along the lines of unique probability tables per level, but that is yet to be decided as I didn't have enough time left xD

Definitely a hidden gem of this game jam.

I love Tetris and you somehow succeeded to elevate the experience with the coziest way possible. I like how it is kind of accurate to how fungi decay all those organic matter in the nature as well (like, surrounding an organic matter and break them down to grow). Great job, loved the game!

Developer

Thank you! That means so much to me :D

Pretty fun game! I think having a reset or undo button would be nice, but I really like it. Great work!

Developer

Yeah I think I will add an undo button but only for a single move at a time, otherwise players could just cheese their way through the entire game, definitely appreciate the feedback!

Very well playtested. I can't expect much more reward than that for finishing all the levels. The progression and gameplay is fair and forgiving, until you logoff!

Developer

Thanks so much!
