Ranked from 14 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How did you use the theme?
Mobility is central to the gameplay: the player is equipped with a variety of movement techniques that allow precise control when navigating the map, scaling obstacles, and escaping hazards. This emphasizes freedom of movement and makes traversal a key part of the challenge.

How did you add the special object?
The gorge is the central gameplay environment. Players must climb through it, navigating its cliffs and obstacles, while escaping a rapidly rising flood. The gorge shapes the level design, challenges, and pacing, turning it into an active obstacle that drives the core gameplay.

Wow, your game is really good. Honestly, I'm addicted to playing it hahahah. The cute characters and the right choice of sound effects make it a little satisfying. Nice Work!

Relly nice pixel art and music. The animations are adding a lot of great feel to jumping and running. Te movement in itself is really satysfying. My highscore is 1949.

I'm not sure about the idea of "3 lifes" in this type of game, and falling after loosing (a couple of times when i was thrown down after touching the water, it was imposibble to climb back, because the falling blocks that were there before have fallen down).

Developer

haha I'm glad you enjoyed it and yeah I am aware of the problem but I couldn't think of a way to fix it in time because the level itself is somewhat procedurally generated

Oooo a Love2D game! The movement was very nice, I liked it a lot. I found myself absolutely shmoving through the game! If I had any complaint it'd be that I wish there were more hazards or something to increase the difficulty, I played to about 2500m or so, but I could've kept going. I found myself almost outpacing the camera at times, and the water didn't feel like a threat.

That said though, really quite a great game and the fact that it kept me playing really speaks to how well the movement was!

Developer

haha yeah I love using LOVE. thanks you for the feedback I was thinking about progressing the game foward and adding more stuff to it

Movement felt extremely smooth, difficulty felt just right, and the background music is very nice! I managed to get to 2100m before drowning.  I guess the only feedback I had is that the game mechanics can be expanded upon, but I get that game jam time limits make it hard to add much. If there was time, maybe adding extra movement abilities or rewards after surviving for a while would add a lot to the game. Overall, quite an enjoyable and polished experience!

Developer

thank you for the feedback. I really enjoyed your game too!
