This is a really cool idea, but I feel like it could be refined a bit more.

Building a mental map of the game was a very interesting process. The shifting rooms caught me off guard, and the game felt much larger and more maze like than I expected as a result.

My main issue is that there wasn't really much incentive to risk exploring rooms since often going right back through the door you just came in was the correct path. I'm not entirely sure how you could fix that (or if it's even something that even needs fixing), but maybe you could have an in-game map system that lets players try to piece the world together themselves, or a powerup that gives the player the option to use doors 'normally'.

Overall, awesome idea, I'd be interested in seeing how far you can take it.

it is really a complicated game, i do not know how you could make this rooms and transition between them, good work, by the way i did not find the crown.

The giant dude in the background gives the game a enormously intriguing athmosphere. Also that the rooms shift seemingly random, til you draw yourself a (mental) map is is awesome. Only the comabt, especially the first boss felt a bit weird.

Nonetheless: cool concept!

This game seems to have great potential. I was very interested in the story and in the meaning of the giant eye that keeps watching us. In terms of gameplay, I struggled quite a bit to understand the room-switching system, and I also didn’t understand how to reach some platforms. The way I found was to jump on top of enemies, but I take damage when doing that, so I think I’m doing it wrong. However, I wasn’t able to figure out the correct way to do it.

Thank you for sharing the project!

I liked this even if it wasn't perfect,

the room transitions at first confused me... but I realise that is part of the design, though I do think it slightly detracts from the exploration aspect of being a metroidvania - I got the crown and was struggling to find the garden again and then jumped into a wall (pretty high it was a double jump) and found myself falling through the world, so you might want to check that everywhere has collisions.

There was lots to like though the graphic style was clean and appealing, the boss fight I did was fun, and I love games where picking things up makes a visible difference, and who doesn't love wearing their crown at a jaunty angle,

nice work

I beat this game, I don't think the other people who rated it understood it, I think the concept was really cool, kind of like the lost woods in zelda, I just think the execution could use some work. It wasnt always clear where doors to new rooms were, and the enemies were a little buggy, but I did like the rolling physics and stuff, that was neat. The player felt good while playing, I think you were on the right track! fun overall, good job!

Very confusing room layouts, sometimes wanted to go back, but ended up in a different place. Rooms are not random, there is some kind of pattern, but it is not obvious. Combat is fun, special moves and healing make room for developing a strategy even with simple enemies

Room transitions are bugged, I'd walk out of a room and come back to a different one, I only noticed that because of the room labels in the corner of the screen, otherwise I don't think I would have noticed since the rooms I've been to were mostly very similar, with the exception of the background and the layout. It's a shame that there's a bug this bad, since being able to traverse the map is probably the most important thing in a metroidvania, but I think that if this was fixed you could have a cool game with solid combat.

ohh no i should add it into description, the game is intended to work that way, to find the path to the crown. it's like a maze
