Wow, that was such a cohesive experience! Definitely want to take a nap. The only two, very minor technical things are the text would sometimes shift slightly. Since I don’t know exactly how you did it, you might try,
Visible Character Behavior=After Shapingon the label. Also the spoon collision felt weird, but letting go of it in the pot, then grabbing it again seemed to always stir correctly after that. Again, very minor. Now time for that nap.Very cozy game, charming art, relatable customers!
Would make potions again
Super cozy game. I really liked the artstyle and music. Although I’m normally not a huge fan of visual novels, I still think this one was really nice.
Love it ! A really good idea and hard work on this game, especially on graphics and sound design. Amazing job done ! :)
saved this just for christmas eve and i'm glad i did, great cozy game!
I don't usually play cozy games (except Wanderstop), but maybe... I should? This calmed me down so much and I really enjoyed the writing. Made me wonder how Audio and Graphics are a voting category, but Story/Writing isn't, when often enough there is more custom text than custom sounds produced in these jams. Heart was warmed, thank you for making <3
(PS: Hooray, you have other games to play :)))
As everyone else said, the art is incredible and the game had a really relaxed cozy feel. You are a great artist, enjoyed this game because of it's aesthetic. Good job!
This was absolutely heart warming. The art is charming and lovely, the soft acoustic guitar music really brings it together. I did have some trouble with my spoon coming out of the cauldron when I didn't want it to, and also felt like some momentum/inertia could have been applied to the meter so it could continue to drift up a bit after you stopped stirring/came back down more slowly. I think smoothing that action would have made it feel better and helped it feel more in tune with the momentum theme.
Overall I really really loved this.
A little cozy visual novel is such a nice break from all the fast paced games, your art is the most gorgeous thing i've seen in a good while, the writing was so sweet too !!
Absolutely loved every character, the hungry snow wasset and mouse were definitely my two favorite characters though ^^
(i hate that i messed up the potion for the wasset!!! poor little guy got in hungry and went out hungrier because of me)
Loved it ! Really nice entry <3
An adorable game with super cozy art! Great take on the theme and the holiday season vibes!
Super cute and amazing art! I really liked the story, had a lot of fun going through this :)
Cute game with great artistic content. Visuals, writing and sound are well interwoven, and I enjoyed clicking through the story much. Warm feels
The art was lovely and the writing was very cute!
I wouldn't say that this game has the most exciting implementation of the "Momentum" theme I've seen, but it certainly has a warm, inviting, and overall relaxed feeling, thanks to its pretty art and humble simplicity. The length is perfect, as the game does not overstay its welcome. A warm cup of coffee in a winter day. Well done with this.
A game that brings such a good feeling even in it's simplicity, had a good time playing.
I was looking forward to playing this when I saw your first iterations of making the potion stirring in the discord channel. It was so cozy and fun! And I don't think I've ever seen such a cute Krampus before. Great job!
You could not imagine my anguish at messing up the potion for the Jolakotturinn
At least I fed the wasset
Immaculate vibes
This is absolutely wonderful!! The art is adorable and really well done, makes for a cozy atmosphere! It's really nice to see painted art for everything, including the UI elements (wood spoon slider for the cauldron comes to mind).
I love the yeti and of course Jolakotturinn too! - the synth voices are charming! Also, did you get inspiration from the long Furbys when making the Snow Wasset?
Such a lovely submission, really glad I checked this one out and glad you submitted it! :)
I didn't even think to use long furbies as a reference but now I wish i had! I wanted the snow wasset to be a mix of cute and unsettling and I feel like long furbies are the perfect combination of that.
For the face I used a west highland white terrier as inspiration, and for the body I drew from a mix of a stoat / brushbuddy (a fantasy creature from the Witch Hat Atelier manga).
I'm so glad you liked it, thank you for the kind words and for playing!!
