Please keep making this game!!! Could be one of those 4am flow experiences with the most epic soundtrack that a cube ever moved to. I wish the bullet and sword swing number was the bg rather than the timer, so I could keep an eye on it. I also wish easy mode was with no timer, but we managed!
Really cool mixture of puzzle and action and the music is great. Nice work!
Ahh I definitely felt the pressure playing this! Really cool concept and design, amazing job!
I like how this game not only offers you some problem solving, but rushes you to complete it in time. This limits problems complexity, but It makes players think in some sort of stress situations, and this is well done!
And this is so polished, love to see!
Precise analysis! Thank you for playing!
This game is just incredible xD
Cool concept with nice shapes, sounds and the controls.
I really like the idea and how fun this game is to play
Congrats for the submission !
this reminds me of SUPERHOT with its presentation, phenomenal work!
YES! SUPERHOT was one of my lingering inspirations for this. Thanks for playing!
The last level's super long corridor at the end was so thrilling to go through, reaching the end right before the timer ran out was exhilarating !
Everything is just amazingly well made, difficulty went up really fast after introducing the lasers but i love me a good difficult game ^^
Can't find anything negative to say and i hate it >:(
Fantastic work !
Thank you!
It's never felt so cool to be square... wasn't that a 60's thing? Secret agent square? Anyways hack and slash away, I think if I were a secret agent I would like to be a square: no discernible country allegiance, no potential political messaging (looking at. you circle.)
This game requires a type of coordination I simply don't have, but it was very fun. You achieved a lot with very limited art, which isn't easy to pull off. Well done.
Thank you for trying anyway!
This felt so satisfying to play! The dopamine when playing your game was insane. The mechanics fit perfectly together and the sound cut while being invicible is something I found amazing. Personal preference but I didn't really like the auto aiming (I don't know if you made an option to disable it but I didn't see it), because I would've prefered going in the direction I wanted and missing the target instead of going a different direction and hitting the target.
Still an insane amount of fun, and one of my favourites so far! Good job 😎
There is currently no option to change the aim assist. I'll consider adding this in the future. Thanks for playing!
Great intro! The music and arcade aesthetic are perfectly matched. I’m terrible at fast-paced gameplay, so I really appreciated the auto-aim assist and the game speed option.
Thanks!
Wow this one is very nice. The game juice is top. I'd prefer if the music wouldn't be cut off in the text screens but that's a very minor critic point.
Actually, I wanted to have separate music for those text screens, but I ended up leaving them blank. I personally didn't like it when the music simply kept playing, as the change in sound was good for indicating reprieve. But I think I should've added music in those text areas nonetheless. I hope that explains some things. Thanks for playing!
Alright gotcha 👌
It's INSANE how good and polished the gameplay is. The subtle auto-aiming also really helped me play it at all and focus more on timing and puzzle solving. The presentation is also fantastic. From the first moments in the tutorial I was hooked!
Thank you so much!!
WOW! So much character and juice, really polished and im sure you didnt get a lot of sleep this week. Thanks for putting in so much effort! Tough but fair and i really like the pacing, one thing i wished for was a second to take the level in, not a big deal since you have infinite respawns and you dont lose anything for dying but i think maybe if the timer only started on your first action? Pressing R is pretty much the first input to a level because you have to get ready to move. Really impressive!!!!!!
How did you know that I didn't get a lot of sleep?!?! Thank you so much! It means a lot to me that you played my game, let alone recognized the effort behind it.
As for the R criticism: that's honestly fair. I did actually play around with the idea of having a short timer upon first entry, but for some reason I just didn't end up implementing it. Maybe in future updates! Again, thanks for playing!
Damn, great job on this one. Loved the back and forth movement with the alternating controls mechanic - a true dedicated design to enhance the momentum. Accessibility settings were awesome. Nice level of polish too and a good dash of humor. Excellent entry!
Thank you so much!
Wow, super cool entry! I had a ton of fun playing this and really enjoyed figuring out all of the puzzles, great work all around, felt really snappy and polished and clean
Thanks!
Awesome game all around, I really love the mix of puzzle and action. I also really appreciate that there's aim assist locking you into enemies, although I do wish it were disabled when using the sword to give a bit more freedom.
Those final levels were TOUGH. Fairly sure I beat the final level with only a few milliseconds left. Great work!
Never even thought about this, but it's a valid suggestion. Thanks for playing!
This looks and feels really good to play. The difficulty curve maybe needs a little work, but this is really good!
Yeahh, I wish I had the time and motivation to add levels in between the Sword levels and the Laser levels, because it does feel like there's a jump in difficulty there, but I tried my best to ease players into every new mechanic. I think just having more levels in general would've helped the difficulty curve. Thanks so much for playing!
Wow! This is incredible. Great music too! Did you use an actual modular synth to make the music?
I did not make the music! Check the game's page credits—the music was made by Density & Time. It is copyright-free, and I like it a lot too. Thanks a lot for playing the game!
Wow so incredibly fun! And love the touch of a special intro to the game. Really great interpretation of the theme as well!
Thank you!
