Really solid concept, and the intro was great.

The combat feels a bit stiff though, and some feedback when attacking enemies and when the player is being attacked would help a lot. Even something like a simple sound and flashing enemies red should be enough.

The dodge is a great addition, but it would feel better if enemies telegraphed their attacks more clearly, maybe with some short wind-up animation that is played before they actually attack, so the player has time to react.

I also didn't fully get why, instead of dying, I turn pink and lose control. Especially since in some cases it's a lot easier to actually just purposely drain the health bar and make the character complete the stage for you.

That said, it's amazing how much story you put into the game, and the endless mode is a nice addition. I think a high score system would add even more replayability.

Overall great job, I enjoyed it!

A FULLY VOICED INTRO CUTSCENE??? IN A GAMEJAM??? HOLY SHIT!

Also the game was super fun, having the player lose control if they lose too much health was a really cool mechanic and fighting was really satisfying risking losing health to defeat enemies.

I really like art, and I thought the opening animation was spectacular! You can tell it’s a great piece of work! Congratulations!

It’s impressive having a full voiced intro cutscene in a jam game. It’s about just as long as the game itself! Take this as you will — especially with the context that I despise cutscenes — but I feel like some of the effort that went into that could have been better used in the actual gameplay. For instance, there does not seem to be any feedback for when any attacks land, which is super important in this kind of game! I do appreciate that you mapped in controller support, as it makes the game much more playable.

Heya I'm the artist/composer of the team! Juanito and I were pretty separate during the development of the game and as such me working on the cutscene really wasn't taking resources from the gameplay; I didn't touch Godot once during this lol.  If I knew how to 3D model I probably wouldn't've done the cutscene but it was really all I could do at a certain point so I had fun with it :D

You did good!

Yeah i fucked up, there is some feedback, but the animation isnt very clear from the camera angle, and also it gets ofuscated by the attack animation, and i didnt want to add particles because in the browser version froze the game (like the exploding bots that ended up in the game). Thanks for the feedback.

"skip cutscene" button, get off the screen, I'm watching absolute cinema. The gameplay is also amazing. Merry Christmas

This was pretty fun! I love how easy it is to lose control of the character; it makes it a fun challenge! I beat the game, and it was awesome >:D

The animation intro was freaking epic and hilarious, as well!!

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!! This would be awesome if this was developed into a full steam release.
