How does your game fit the theme?
spoilers!
you just barely make it to the escape pod but you've arrived to late and the ship got hit and your yeeted into space
Story / Context
you are hurt badly
your suit has saved you
you need to escape
Proof of Real-Time Rendering
I'm like "camera movement? thats boring" so instead when the enemy gets blown up they use ragdoll physics so they will end up at a diffrent spot evrey time
i also got head bobbing

When thinking about implementing a running camera movement, it sounds hard to fit in a way that it will feel natural, yet you managed it. Feels very good, not only running forward but also turning and other movements.
You managed to create a lot of scenes with a lot of action, which is quite impressive.
One small piece of feedback from me is related to the helmet and HUD. The warning sign could be less transparent, smaller, and put in the corner of the view. Similar to the broken glass effect, it would be slightly transparent. Also, the helmet interior (texture) had strong lights from the environment, which broke the immersion - you have no lights in the helmet.
Amazing amount of work with polished movement, good job!
thank you so much for the feedback!
Hi! I’m giving my final feedback before the jam closes,
The cutscene is really interesting: I might adjust the story a bit, since I had to read the project description to understand it better.
I’d also slightly reduce the warning images, as they make the scene feel a bit “messy” from a visual point of view.
That said, I really liked the environment, the broken helmet is a nice detail, and above all the use of the camera really impressed me.
If you’d like to take a look at my project as well, I’d really appreciate your feedback.
to late i already did
XD
This was awesome! I really enjoyed how you captured the urgency of the situation. The camera work and visuals are great. Well done!
Now that's a quality submission! Camera work was great! No notes here. First person cutscenes often feel floaty, but in this case camera works good.
The lighting works great for the atmosphere, maybe the red is a bit intense, but it fits the frantic action. My only gripe with the art is the crack in the visor. I think it could be a bit smaller. The soundscape is on par with graphics. Hell, maybe better, because I have no gripes here :) It's intense, as it should be.
As fot the use of the theme- it's good! I'd gladly play the game starting with this!
Great work!
That's great Goed allowed you to upload a shortened version. I think it's actually improved shorter. In both versions, I found it a bit confusing what happened to the astronaut. (I had to read the description to figure out he got sucked out into space before he could get in the escape pod.) But portraying such a chaotic scene with just visuals is not easy.
thanks for the feedback!
I am very glad that you were allowed to shorten your cutscene and that I was able to watch it, because yesterday I didn't have time to get to it and was upset.
I really liked the musical accompaniment and the visual design!
thank you so much!
im very happy that they allowed it
This is a good cutscene! It fits the theme very well. Music and SFX are great, I think. For the art style: The idea of using a broken helmet is great, but within the scene combined with the warning signals it takes just too much space and is very distracting. Still I like the art style and also the pacing of the camera work. Good entry!
good distractions
so you dont see all the corners i cut
wait did i say that out loud?
Haha :DD
