Cool idea! The last level is a bit too frustrating for me though. Some checkpoint system would have been nice

It's super impressive how you made all these in a couple of days! Fun and smooth gameplay. Thanks for including the option to  turn of the filter!

Developer

Thanks for feedback!! Yes, i know that not everyone likes this kind of filters :3

This was a ton of fun to play through, the level of polish for a game made in such a short time frame is wild

I think the movement could do with a little finessing, something about it feels slightly awkward, maybe the amount of acceleration in the air being the same as on the ground? Also imo a nice tweak would be having fruits respawn. I really enjoyed the challenge but I think its best when it comes from the level design, not the game being overly punishing. That's just me nitpicking though since I really like platformers lol. This game stands out as one of my favourite entries in the jam :) OIIAI

YOOOOO You are my bro!!! Thanks for completing full pc version!!!! I don`t sure why, but I also noticed that platforming a bit junky, and i don`t know why(( I would remaster whole script in future anyway. Thanks for feedback!!!

the visuals are stunning! expecially with the retro feeling given by the CRT effect, the gameplay is also really fun and captivating even though it can be quite challenging on some levels

Thank you so much!

Great game! Last level was too difficult for me, was unfortunately unable to complete it. The retro aesthetic with the CRT monitor filter was so interesting! Also a fan of the music and sound design. What synth plugin did you use?

Developer

Magical8bit 2 with some presets that i found on  random youtube video. nothing else :3 Thanks for feedback!

Awesome game!

One of the best I played in ths Jam. Loved the art style.

Developer

Thank you!!

I liked this game - retro CRT monitor look was on point!  A nice implementation of the deja vu theme.  Overall I liked it, though I feel some of the longer screens would have benefitted from a checkpoint, but totally understandable considering the game jam restraints!

Developer

Thank you!

Arts and sound designs are all awesome, the original filter was a bit too much for me but I'm glad it's possible to turn it off (though I was a bit confused by the menu since dark button -> selected instead of the normal bright button -> selected)

The control is and platforming is pretty tight, some cool level design and concept as well, though a lot of it is inducing quite a bit of rage, I think I die like 10 times just on level 2 alone, small traps and jump baits (not sure if intentional or not). By the time I reach the banana fruit I kinda lost it, since you need to approach the banana from the top platform, not the bottom or there's no reaching the doorway.

Brilliant game, but very frustrating experience.

Really cool! Everything had a great vibe and felt nicely connected. I loved the old TV–style camera layer, and the forest keeper’s design was really nice. Kudos!

Thank you very much!!

Wow, that’s stylish! Is this the child of Animal Well and Inscryption? It looks like a finished, polished project — I really loved it.

Developer

Oh, I saw "Animal Well" in game design tutorial video and it caught my attention with its graphics, but I wasn't exactly inspired by it :''3 And thanks, I didn't know what it was called C:

A bit ragebaiting but very cool and interesting platformer! And visuals are very high quality! It gives cool vibes of old arcade game, and I like it!

I just thought that "NO AI" will make more views and rates :"'3 But it is true anyway. Thanks for feedback!!!

Developer

Well, I have no complaints about the use of AI in games, as long as it's not obvious it's AI. I love neural networks and I really like their development, but I hate it when a game looks like a continuous neural network, from the plot to the graphics. Sorry, I just wanted to say something :'''3
