I LOVE THIS GAME! I love playing minesweeper and adding a boss fight is the cherry on top. Only complaint is I didn't know how it worked immediately. I was confused for a second. Maybe a short tutorial? Overall, my favorite submission I've played yet! This is def a game that I would get addicted playing if it was a full release!

Pretty great game :D I'm bad at minesweeper so I'm also bad at this game but the gameplay is really fun so I my experience was still good. The music is very great and I like the concept of changing simple game like minesweeper into another genre lol. Great job!

The concept is suuuper original. That's 100% a game that has the potential to grow to be released as a full game. Big brain moment while dodging boss attacks? I'm all for it. I honestly don't see any wrong part in it, the execution is flawless. One of my favorite games of the jam!

Connection to Theme: 3/5. Well, it's simply retro.
Enjoyment: 5/5. I love minesweeper in any form and played it a lot but this might be exactly what it lacked. I enjoyed combining thinking about the next minesweeper move to attack with thinking about the next character move to dodge.
Presentation: 3/5. It has a unique visual style and the music goes well with it but I don't really see what exact style it went for. If it was supposed to be pixel art, then it doesn't follow the pixel ratio at all. And if it wasn't supposed to be pixel art, then it's too pixelated.
Gameplay: 4/5. I like that the boss has several attack patterns but it doesn't change at all throughout the game so you get used to it pretty quickly and dodge on muscle memory alone.
Creativity: 5/5. It's just a great idea. I mean, the idea of boss fights in Minesweeper wasn't born today but it's the first time I see someone do it right.

Fun and chaotic game! though i find that the small projectiles are quite hard to see when you are focusing on the mines adding a bit more contrast could help.
