Historical Accuracy
We decided to focus on the nightly anti air defense experienced at Henderson Field in 1942 to create a first person Tower Defense

-the sounds were modeled after real ww2 anti-air guns
-in the music is plausible recreation of 1940s american radio

I couldn't quite make sense of how the space I was defending was being attacked! The cover art for the game is really pretty, and the map looked well thought out though. Thanks for the entry!

Really enjoyed the videos and voice overs :)  Aiming was defiantly difficult, but i enjoyed the overall experience a lot.

Loved the atmosphere, narration, and in-game voicovers! I also appreciate the small variety of gun types you could switch between.

I didn't really know where hitting Q/E would send me, even after failing and retrying once, so it felt like I spent a lot of time trying to get my bearings after switching.

The limit on the guns' pitch was probably a historical accuracy choice but it definitely felt a little too limiting from a gameplay perspective, especially since the planes were hard to see from far away. Luckily I still survived the night!

The menu background art looks awesome and feels like it contrasts the picturesque setting with the tone of air raids nicely alongside the old jazz music.

Great atmosphere and models, most of the mechanics seem worked well.

I'd love to see the planes arrive sooner, even at the expense of taking early damage. The waiting around had me wondering if something was broken.

This is great!

The first time I played I had no idea what I was supposed to do - I didn't pay attention to the news reel at the start and had no idea what Q-E to switch actually meant.

The first target I fired on was the nearby A-A unit.

However, I tried another go today for the review and figured it out.  I shot down all the planes and won the battle.

It would benefit from a map overlay showing the incoming planes and the A-A positions.

Nice job!

Sick intro, really set the game up well. Once I got into the game it seemed like I was waiting ages for the Japenese to come. Also, not being able to look more up created a problem when they came over the bunker in front of them. I'm assuming the bunker was there to hide spawning planes, maybe you could have used some clouds or something and removed the bunker. There's a bit of a juxtaposition between the intro and the quite jovial music of the main game. Also would have liked more feedback on the shooting down of the planes. Nice entry. congrats.

Loved the intro video and the concept! First person control of an AA gun was so cool! Loved the music in both the intro video and the gameplay, very immersive.

I think the addition of basic HUD would be a helpful addition for the player, I found it hard to find where the planes were to shoot them down. Some kind of system showing vaguely where the planes are, like maybe a radar type display? Great work!

great idea to put a explanation video as a intro

Love the intro, the music, the sound in general. Would have loved to have some feedback when taking a plane down, as right now, it is quite hard to tell, given how small they are. Letting the player go full-screen may help?

No other comments, really a solid little game!
