This game is animated so well, everything looks great and stylish. If this game had a more roguelike progression, I think it would benefit heavily. Maybe you earn money based on the grade and spend it on new tubes? Because as the game stands it is mostly just watching really polished animations. Overall this game was great! Just wanted more. Music was PHENOMENAL!

Was really looking forward to this from the screenshots because I expected it to be a puzzle game and was kinda disappointed when it was just a fill the screen with random stuff and look at the animations kind of game.

The animation and art are really fun and I especially liked the intro but the gameplay felt a little bit flat.

This game is awesome. It's so animated and polished feeling. It's super funny and the dynamic music adds so much

Washed my chickens so good

I freakin love this game especially the intro and overall artstyle.

Really enjoyed all of the animations as the machine is running. At first I just connected the start and end points together, but I failed and realized that I needed to use the other parts. Then I just filled the entire screen with as much stuff as I possibly could and passed with flying colors. I don't completely understand why my machine was good, but it was definitely fun to watch!

"Placeholder art" my ass, this game looks awesome. The animations are so charming. The sound design and music growing as the machine plays is wonderful. I wish there was a bit more depth to the gameplay than just chaining together a bunch of stuff, but it was an incredibly enjoyable 10 minutes to play this game. There's some small technical issues and some web performance stuff but who cares it's a jam. Great work.

Spectacular visuals and style. I also really like this idea and love how it works.

I think working on controls / usability would be the next step, aside from obstacles / different levels.

Controls-wise, I had some difficulty moving through the menu on the web version, had to click around a lot just to scroll through options. Also, when placing items, sometimes it would say no, unless I pulled it away for a sec and put it back, then it worked. Edge case stuff just might need some slight tuning on that part.

I kinda didn't understand how much each piece would contribute to wash and cool factor, so I kinda just had to throw a lot together and hope for the best.  I sorta got it eventually and built up a meta. But some slight indicators may help for difficulty's sake. Unless you want to let players just trial and error it, which is a fine choice too.

It's really cool how you built this in 4 days. That's incredible for how well it looks and is put together. Great job. One of my favourites of the jam

Reminds me of playing Incredible Machine when I was younger. Slick and clean stuff

I Killed many chickens in the process, forgot to clean them... oops... Great game, great comedy, fun gameplay loop!

This is a great concept for a larger game. i was sad to see that it was just one pass fail level, but that just goes to show how great the idea is, One of those games with so much character it is hard to forget.

Really funny idea! The presentation was also really nice especially the animations in the special pipes.... was fun trying to get an S rating

omg I'd die for them! The farmer said I was an ok friend haha, quite liked finding out what each contraption did!

Submitted

Really captured the slick theme! Love the music and animations and just overall juice of it, but didn’t really find it fun, though it was neat to see all the cool pipes you added!

for whatever reason this took me back to a simpler time, cartoony animations, no idea what it will look like just placing things and watching them. Idk why reminds of like pajama sam when he was in food universe or sth ;-;

game is slick with making me feel sth warm 10/10

just the sheer animation alone is chef's kiss!
hands down best pixel art animations I've seen this jam
tho I don't get how the scoring works but nonethelss I made some slick contraptions.

also if you have time, it would be slick if you rate my game.

Really clever and fun idea. Getting graded on the most complex rube goldberg machine you can make is a really great design idea and then wrapping it up in cleaning oily chickens was a fantastic use of the theme. I thought the animations behind some of the machines were really great as well. Nicely done! My only thought is I wonder if there's a way to maybe create an economy of some sort and limit the pieces that players can use, so they're challenged to not only complete the level but also do it in a flashy and interesting way. That being said, I realize there's only so much time in a game jam, and this great work for just a few days.

My submission which isn't link to my comment for some reason: /jam/bigmode-game-jam-2026/rate/4242235
