thanks for playing, definitely mot a game for everyone. might be also my fault when designing it
Already fixed the linux issue for a post jam update. issue turned out to be a corrupted soundtrack file added last minute which caused the linux build to somehow not package it. the first second of the game when the soundtrack was referenced and started playing caused a crash. sorry about the inconvenience
thanks for playing, all valid criticism. gathered up all the feedback from people to push an updated version as soon as the jam ends including fixed linux version, 3x performance boost so it runs on a potato and various qol stuff to not feel unfair anymore like the targets disappearing or not knowing if the shotgun shot is gonna make it etc.
pretty fun idea, I like the weapons being cycled on a revolver, I wasn't as creative lol
lacks a bit in polish, I get the style you were going for but still it just feels really raw. I feel like making less but more meaningful and polished levels would be the play here but still enjoyed it. good stuff

thanks for playing and the kind words <3
all the criticism is hella valid - the targets can be in fact unreadable, I wanna make some kind of an outline for them in general and a better indication of them degrading as time gets lower since I also catch myself on firing a targets that is already disappearing which is another annoying thing I need to fix - you should definitely be able to shoot the target as it fades away.
the shotgun was problematic since I didn't want to make it a sniper rifle but also not make it extremely up-close. it came with an ok-ish balance but can definitely be improved by stuff like a crosshair indicator informing you if you will land the shot or not and some better ux like cutting player some slack if the target is extremely close to the trace's end but didn't quite hit it
this is so awesome holy. I love the vibe, artstyle, music. I think the game could benefit from more physical or more complex interactions rather than just spamming lmb though. like maybe shaking the pepper spray yourself or pouring the drink etc. qtes like the slow dance worked the best honestly. I think the strategy aspect is pretty meh since I found myself just spamming attacks as they go in whatever order and the outcome seems about the same rather than carefully planning and boosting upcoming attacks. timer going down always even outside battle was a nice touch. also: if you could please link me the pixabay music you used. there's this one song I absolutely love but I have no clue how to find it lol. awesome stuff overall though, loved it
Pretty fun climbing game, atmosphere and sound design are so well nailed down as well for a gamejam game. my only notes are that it feels extremely claustrophobic and disorienting (for me) with such a low fov - would appreciate an fov slider or some settings to tweak that. I also found the grab indicator highlighting, allowing me to grab onto a rock but the actual hand grab instantly let go. it's a pretty cool game overall though
I think the movement options are pretty diverse. have you tried launching yourself with the shotgun or the rocket launcher by shooting below? might have not explained it that well but assumed it would be people's first instinct
you can edit in-game setting through the game_settings.txt next to the executable. thought it looked more abandonware-style
thanks for playing :)
