How does your game represent "Slick"?
The monsters detect noise so you need to be slick, you can also slide on ice which is slick and if you get spotted you are gonna need some slick moves to survive..

Looks really great and cool mechanics! Just needs a little more sound to make it shine
The Visuals are so trippy its such a cool artstyle!
Thank you!
Love the design on the hangler enemies. Once I figured out you could outrun them and use the ice to gain speed I was just sliding through. Had to make sure there weren't any hanglers after me though. Great atmosphere, too. Good work!
I liked the atmosphere; The graphics feel like part of the game design. Sometimes disorienting, it makes you slow down to take a more calculated approach, which adds tension. You can't just sprint to the end and hope you make it. I know because I tried it... a lot.
Nice work!
Its great to see horror games getting some well deserved love and attention here! Great job on the overall vibe it’s fantastic! Also just wanna say its so nice that you put a mouse sensitivity slider! Good game!
Love the visuals especially the color banding and chromatic aberration. Super cool to see another dark/horror game submitted to the jam. Nice job! :)
Thank you! I really got into making horror games recently for whatever reason, glad to see there were more in this jam.
Very cool look and vibe!!!
Thanks!
Very cool look and vibe!!!
I think that maybe because I didn't have 60 fps the post processing was way too much. Does fps affect it? I honestly couldn't make sense of what was happening most of the time. I also feel like my character wouldn't always move towards where I was trying to go. It would lock into the direction when I began moving. So I didn't make it very far. The death screens were super cool though. I got to see them a lot haha. Also the main menu and intro felt super polished, so I'm saddened that I couldn't get to enjoy the game.
The post processing does get quite strong when you get into a chase so you generally wanna have a rough idea of where you are going, also FPS mostly shouldn’t really affect it, although there is a shader that I made which is kinda like motion blur, you could see that, and it might be too strong on smaller FPS so if it was being too blurry and stuff that might be an FPS thing, my bad :/
Also never really noticed the character really locking into a direction when I was testing it, I don’t know if that’s another bug or FPS related or just something I never noticed. There is a video on the page too if you wanna just see some gameplay.
Thanks for the review by the way.
Love the post processing shown in this game, makes for a trippy experience
Thanks! I wasn’t really sure if it’s a little too strong but I guess the whole game is quite trippy and weird so it fits in.
