This feels like something Lucas Pope could have come up with. Mundane administrative work (entering digits in this case) underlying severe moral choices or intrigue. It went on a bit too long for me with the current concept. But perhaps there's more to be explored here. I invision a version of the game where one of the "good" ending is hidden behind a route where you have to figure out the coordinates of your own base and bomb those instead, but still have to do horrific things in order to even get to that point.

Developer

Thank you so much :) Lucas Pope was definitely an inspiration for the "feel".

I've also envisioned different endings/routes and deeper or different mechanics, so I may explore those if I come back to this game

Very creative, unique game. Good atmosphere, it matched the theme. The controls were simple and suited the game, but one detail: on the standard Brazilian ABNT 2 keyboard, "Report" is not on the ~ key but on the ' key.

Thank you for pointing out about different keyboard layouts! That's not something I had considered

Really strong vibes in this one and just turning dials on a radio is a surprisingly fun mechanic. Also the fact that there's a kind of subtle choice system is very cool. I did kind of figure out some dial setting that meant I didn't really have to mess with the second two dials any more so that made it a little too easy for me

Developer

Thank you for playing and providing your feedback :)

I agree about the second two dials, there's definitely more I could do like randomising the positions of the "in tune" areas etc.

One of the most unique theme interpretations lol. I enjoed playing it, very creative idea. English is not my first language, but i managed to complete this game :) Only small problem is when you scroll chanels - game lags a little, but that is the only bug that i found. Very well done!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing and completing my game :D it means a lot you stuck with it all the way through.

The lag is unfortunately a problem with the web build and no matter what I tried I couldn't figure out a way to fix it :s but luckily it still works fine in the exe version.

Loved the idea and execution. Also a massive scott pilgrim fan so garbage truck was cool to hear!

Developer(+1)

Hehe glad you like the song! I'm also a big fan of Scott Pilgrim. I had a couple covers and an original track I thought I'd throw in as some juice on the civilian channels

The keyboard controls work so well for this and the concept is executed really well! You did the voice acting? Wow, I'm impressed. I really have anything to critisize, other than really tiny nitpicks (I had to look up what the tilde key on my keyboard is, I wanted to back between report fields and think a visual indicator of your reports/days passed would be cool) - overall, really fun and well done!

Developer

Wow thank you so much!

this is amazing! can't believe it was done in two days. really cool take on the isolation theme, i love how the civilian and military channels overlay on each other and you have to isolate the military channel. i also enjoyed just listening to some of the civilian channels lol. super well done, the presentation is awesome as well

Developer

Thanks so much!! I'm glad you enjoyed listening to the civilian channels, I'd never recorded voice overs before and it was actually really fun to do

This is really really great. Love the voice acting. The game is perfect for what it's trying to do. Love the design, love the concept. Great work!

Developer(+1)

Thank you!! I've never voice acted before but I actually had a lot of fun doing the civilian channels haha.

Thanks so much! I hope I did keyboard only controls justice

Presentation on this is awesome, love how your actions get increasingly comically unethical as the game goes on. The position that the isolation knob needs to be in seems to be the same every time though, so once you've done the isolate audio part of the game once you don't need to engage with that mechanic again.

Developer(+2)

Thank you for the feedback :) I'd have liked to make the isolation and civilian radio aspect of the game more involved and detailed but I way overscoped hahaha. But I still liked that the player could choose to listen in to the civilian radio stations for the fun of it, or to sometimes hear snippets about potential war activities

This is really interesting. Went through all three channels. Visually is nice, feels like it fits the theme. Audio feels on point without being overbearing. Nice job overall.

Developer(+1)

Thanks :) it was maybe a bit ambitious for a 2 day jam haha, but I hope people see the metanarrative I put in (and appreciate all the voice lines I recorded lmao)
