Cute game! Took a little bit to figure out what each part of the tree did but I enjoyed it!

You can watch my playthrough here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2698508418?t=00h22m12s

Good job with this. it was a lot of the same thing but it was still fun with picking your upgrades and the music spot really made it a lot better for me.

great job.

Thanks for playing!

Quite polished for a month. The music and aesthetic felt like this should have been a more relaxing game IMO.
Regardless, good job!

I liked this one, but I have a couple pieces of feedback to give:

One would be to make it so that branches kill you one step later, I don't know why, but I felt like they were killing me before touching the character? Maybe it's just a me thing, but it felt weird.

Another would be to make it so that there's a delay to accept player input when a shop appears, I found myself buying stuff on accident a few times.

Overall, good job, it's a pretty cool little game!! :D

This is really fun, definitely have something like Leaf Blower Revolution going on, very cool. The one bit of feedback I have is that there could be a click delay when the upgrade screen opens, sometimes I found myself clicking an upgrade by accident.

Developer

Thank you for playing and for the suggestion! Haven't heard of Leaf Blower Revolution, thanks for mentioning it!

Nice work! Only thing I didn't quite understand was the extra life , I had more than one heart and died to a single branch bonk. I felt the repeated clicking was tiring on the wrist after a while.  Enjoayable vibes!

Developer

Thank you for playing! It's strange that you died, I'll look into this problem. I'll also probably add auto clicking. Thanks for the feedback!

Nice game! it was fun. At one point the portal block stopped working, maybe because of an upgrade? I didn't really pay attention and just bought everything in the shop after I had a lot of wood :D Overall, nice work!

Developer

Thank you for playing! Don't know why portal block stopped working, I'll have to look into it

Fun game! The idea is nice. I think it is pretty hard; the difficulty with the upgrades needs to be a bit more impactful. Making it auto-cut so you just have to move would be nice, too. The graphics were chill and I liked the ambiance with the music. I could really see this as a time-passer mobile game or a real chill roguelike. Good job!

Developer

Thank you for playing the game and for the feedback! I appreciate it)

Hello, thanks for submitting your game and letting me play! Good job on finishing. I think the concept of a tree cutting roguelike is neat. But the upgrade for increasing the chopping rate makes the game harder and you have to move faster to either side. (Maybe this is what you were going for, i.e. upgrades make the game harder) I think the idea might be better as a flappy-bird like where you have to move side-to-side while avoiding branches and the game gets faster as you go and you aim to survive for as long as possible. It wasn't immediately clear what a lot of the other upgrades and cards did. I saw a few rotten sections, but it wasn't clear to me what a rotten section does or a beehive does etc. I hope my feedback makes sense on some level.

Developer

I should thank you for playing the game) Thank you for ideas and suggestions! Rotten blocks take wood from you and if you chop a beehive you take damage, you can check blocks descriptions by clicking button in down right corner, should've make better visual clues though. This is a really valuable feedback, thanks!
