Ranked from 8 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How is the theme implemented?
The player is an evil bioscientist holding a sentient meat 4-dimensional tesseract cube beast thing captive and it cries out for freedom (and occasional rescue attempts are made), so the player is most definitely the enemy of the meat-tesseract in its eyes.

theme: not bad, evil cube is a solid idea.

Polish: The game is decently polished, the background music was a little annoying, but the sound effects were good.

Art: The neon look is really good; the flying objects were a bit distracting, but the game looked good.

Concept: it took me a while to understand, but the idea is good. It needs some adjustments, but it's not bad.

enjoyment: once you understand how the game works its actually kinda fun, it's hard to see a little, but the gameover all it good.

Glad you gave it a go.

The critical part was making sure the power ups kept it possible to win because if it was Strict Tetris and Strict Rubiks cube I kept dying right away in the earliest versions.  Was time to cheese it up a bit and make it like you don't need complete line-clears, and then it was I think a great move to involve the floating 3D animals instead of them being passive background filler.

Gave you an itch follow, if you like the thing(s) on my page(s), consider doing the same.

I think it might've done better design wise but seems pretty solid and I think with enough polish it has great potential :D

Most gratified you tried it out :)

As a really bad video game player- I find this game extremely hard, however it is still really fun!

Developer

the designer himself isn't much better at it.  I did figure out to make it so that one did not really have to rigorously match all the faces nor truly play tetris.  I mean i never really do the Rubiks Cube twistys because theres just no reaction time left to do it but i thought it would be super interesting if you could rubiks cube twist a tetris

Glad you gave it a try.

What a well crafted gem! As previous comment said it took a while to understand the basics of it but once that got out of the way it was really joyful experience. Visually cohesive and well thought out. Are you planning to flesh this out as a full experience after the jam? Great job!

All my things are really effectively slightly unfinished and partly done as a vehicle to get people to listen to the music and maybe check out the other offerings i have on the streaming platforms.

(Although equally an almost as old dream going back to playing atari 2600 games in the 70's was to eventually design games. so both are really sincere goals -- just that my music talent is more immediate and lower effort to build a thing)

glad you gave it a look-see

This game is visually trippy, took me a bit to get oriented and figure out what was going on, but it plays  really smoothly in the browser. And paired well with your music. Nice job!

AI is allowed in the rules and what I've become adept at since last March is condensing and re-condensing in cycles.

Like i write a very chancey prompt that is 2 full paragraphs and toss it out if it fails and keep it if it works

Then intervene in individual functions with direct coding.
