Damn, pretty fun 3d vampire survivors type game
Very slick
REALLY well done, y’all!
Once I started getting kill combos and things were picking up, it was really fun. Art, code, and sound firing on all cylinders in this one!
I wish I could’ve turned the character a little better and had a little more responsive controls. But it worked well with what it did and overall seems like a very well polished title! As others have said, this is really close to justifying a price tag.
I really like this one! Very addicting. Also great music!
Nice to see something like vampire survivors here, the boost was fun to use and managed to help me stay away from those purple aliens, they just kept sneaking up on me! Also a nice touch to have both the 3D pov and a 2D map in the top right so you can easily see if there's any enemies coming from behind, I took advantage of it a lot more later on during my playthrough. One thing I would like adjusted is if the starting weapon was just a little bit stronger, as it seems like it takes a little too long to defeat just the weak aliens. I'm also curious if there's a better way to present the reticle, as it's just a thin red box that hovers on top of the player (perhaps you could show just the corners of the reticle and leave out the rest?). Otherwise it was fun mowing down aliens once I got a good arsenal of weapons at my side. Great work!
This one sucked me in. So fun, kind of evoked Zone of the Enders somehow. Love the tank controls - never got good synergies with my boost - which I wish had been incentivized more. Presentation is really nice, music is great. Slick for sure.
Amazing. My only two complaints are that it was hard to see past the character, and i was legitimately angry that there wasn't more. one of the few games this jam that i would consider throwing money at.
This is so sick! It looks beautiful. The music is dope. The game is super fun. This is just great all around. Really really well done!
Very fun chaotic gameplay! All of the upgrades felt meaningful, and it was fun chaining them together for a build that made for a unique playstyle each time.
I spent a lot more time on this then I planned to... Its a lot of fun and has some great art and music! Would love to see more enemie and upgrade variety to this!
This would of gone so hard in the 90's.
Great game!
My time is 10:38, from memory.
Love the vibe, music and graphics.
Gameplay is good, I don't really play survivor-type games,
(I do play all kinds of Shoot-em-ups, though.) but I had fun!
The controls took a bit of getting used to.
I do have some suggestions:
1. Elevation changes in the arena.
Either over-time, or at the very start. Could be randomized each playthrough.
2. Add the text 'HP: or 'POWER' next to the health numerical value
(I got confused at what the number meant until around half-way through my playthrough)
3. Add in a score bar
4. Larger variety of enemies/enemy behaviours
5. Add in a 'Points/Time until next upgrade:' bar,
so players can predict when the next upgrade will happen.
6. Toggleable crosshair options.
7. I know that there is a map on the top right, but being able to see behind you in-game would be nice.
Otherwise; great game!
Would love to see a full release of this.
The art enhances this so much!!! Upgrades felt very satisfying, and i wish it kept going
Super fun game! I really like the art style.
Had a blast playing on steam deck. Really cool perspective on a survivors game.
A unique spin on the survivor genre! The pixel art is what drew me in and the screen clearing build is what made me stay.
Very slick! Love how OP you get, love the music.
