Enzo is really cute! I found the movement really interesting, where the ferret follows the cursor than just using WASD. I did find the pyramid part a bit hard. The controls took some time to get used to as I kept press the usual WASD keys. I like the art and good job!:)

This is quite a weird game... strange place game perhaps? It's giving me a lot of Snake Pass vibe here. I guess it's because of the unconventional controls and the strange physics. The gameplay is pretty cool and challanging, and the levels get progressively harder as well. The spike wall climb is probably the hardest, but I am imagining there could be more difficult stuff ahead, and thanks god there aren't. Speaking of wall climbing, the slow climbing suggests to me that it wasn't an intended mechanic, and I don't think performing that feels good in the game. It would be nicer if the speed were a bit quicker, or changing to something else entirely. Anyway, this is a pretty interesting and different entry, good job on making this!
Other things I like:
- Graphics are pretty nice
- Ragdoll physics for the player
characterferret
Suggestions:
- Music sounds a bit eerie, and I don't think it matches the game. Consider something more lighthearted
- The final drop of both the cave and the pyramid feels a bit off as the ending section of the level. It looks like the other death drop instead, and I would prefer some gateway/cave exit to make the level ending more satisfying
Interesting take on the movement, it was a fun experience, even if I feel like the climbing on vertical slopes felt a bit unreliable and unpredictable.
THIS IS NOT WHAT I EXPECTED! I ENJOYED THIS GAME BUT MAN IT WAS A SURPRISE TO DISCOVER THAT THIS WAS SOMETHING SIMILAR TO GETTING OVER IT!
I loved it! Great work! It was really fun!
This was such a cute little game and the physics based movement gives it so much personality. It took me a bit to really get the controls down, but once it clicked, bouncing and wiggling around felt surprisingly fun and satisfying.
The rag doll physics is charming but I still have no idea how the jump works XD I just wiggled around until it climbed up somehow. My only gripes are that the game lacks a bit of polish and the soundtrack gets a bit repetitive over time. Its still quite remarkable that you did all this by yourself though, so great job!
That's a very sweet game! I liked the mechanics (maybe the movement was a bit hard for me) and the visuals (maybe a bit more work on the background - if you want to polish the game more, but it is a game jam - and it's impressive that you managed so much in one week!:)
I really love Enzo, this little fellow is so cute and how he chases the mouse with physics is so fun! The world is beautiful handcrafted and the assets are wel done. However, I think the environment could be improved as sometimes the world feels so shallow and empty. Consider adding motion to foliage e.g by swaying in the wind and using Parallax Backgrounds to create more depth and by adding lighting (especially in the cave level) to your game.
The Music and SFX are good and fit this style of game perfectly, but get a bit repetitive and boring after some time. Adding different music tracks for each level and making few more sounds for Enzo and it would be perfect. Sometimes the controls for Enzo feel a bit sluggish, partly also due to the level design. There were a few areas where it was really hard, though overall the difficulty was good.
Overall beautiful game, i'm so glad Enzo made it (safely) back home!
Didn't get to far because I listened to the sign in the beginning. Just kidding I got home. Really enjoyed it! The visuals were good and I liked the way you physics! Last pyramid jump to a few tries, but still was good. I liked it!
The pyramid level was hard, but i really enjoy the gameplay! Dont worry Enzo, i'll take you home!
I really enjoyed this! It’s impressive that you created everything yourself. The controls, visuals, and audio are great. Well done!
Really cute game, love the visuals and wobbly ferret physics, really fun to play around with. Got stuck in the ground in the pyramids level sadly :c Will get him home eventually though.
Pretty cool, I loved the sound the ferret made when you jump, and I also liked how the hurtbox is a lot smaller than what I tought, there were many times when I got hit by the spikes and I still got to live.
The gameplay is pretty cool too, it takes a while to understand how to move proprely, but once I did, it felt pretty good. Well done!
Really cool game! Love the way you blended movement with 2 inputs instead of one. I also like the wiggly-ness of the ferret, so cute! Great visuals as well! It took me a while to figure out that you needed momentum to be able to get on top of the first taller rock in the cave, however after I figured that out it was smooth sailing from there. I would love to see where this game goes in the future, if you plan on expanding it!
Clever game, love the idea and mechanics! I got stuck on the ground after respawning from the spikes...
