How does the game fit the theme?
You’re acting in a weird theatre production where you must not only perform your role, but also move the platforms to keep the show going.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The game idea had a POC but was completely redone during the jam.
We also had an empty Godot project with menu and a sound player.

Very interesting twist. It gave a nice challenge, but a satisfying accomplishment. GJ.
Such a fun game to play! The Nokia ringtone had me laughing out loud! Great work to the entire team that worked on it!
Enjoyment: Overall I had a great time. There were only 3 small details i noticed, which annoyed me a bit. First off, would loved an additional input/button to reset the second part of each level, as Q reset back to creating the movement pattern part. Second I'd like it better, if the recorded path would already be displayed right after the first repetition, maybe this is a bug/unintended that it takes an additional try to reveal it. Third, most certainly was a bug, after pressing the reset stage button (q), sometimes it would reset a second time without input - was maybe the wrong input signal connected to ?
Gameplay: Easy controls - although I always prefer a separate button to the arrows for jumping. Got stuck quite a bit in the playthrough between platforms, no big deal to the reset scene function. Dunno if it was intended to have the forces of the self-controlled platforms, it was funny to shoot the main character through the roof.
Innovation: That was refreshing - classic platformer with an exciting twist to it. Furthermore I can imagine you can iterate upon this new mechanic further. Top category for my review.
Theme: Even without the main character I would have bought the implementation of the theme as a stage play, as the stage can be mysterious magical and strange of course.... Mechanically speaking I thought the moving the platform in the rear view playthrough partly also presses towards the theme. well done.
Visuals: While not my personal favorite, you've done a great job at having a consistent art style that also helped give the polish feeling - well done in the visuals department
Audio: I like the background tune, its very supporting the gameplay in mind and I love the sfx queues from time to time, subtle but strong - very good job in the audio department.
This is really cool! It's really clever how your movement is saved for the behind the scenes segment of the act, I like that a lot. The art is also good, and I like the gasps of horror from the audience when I fall to my death. Great work!
What I liked:
- This is such a clever, unique idea for a game. Wwitching between being the character and being the setting is so original and then I thought the framing of it was perfect, being based on Dante's inferno and a theatrical performance. Lev's movement and animation really felt theatrical and I just found it really immersive
- The audience reactions and gasps were such a nice touch. It made me feel a lot more invested and I found myself gasping too
- The background art and curtain and audience were excellent. Loved the artistic feeling of this game!
What I thought could be improved:
- I think my biggest issue was that in the levels where you manage the setting, Lev is really hard to control and it can feel pretty unfair at times. I tend to like difficult platformers and challenges but I found myself shooting Lev through the ceiling with what I thought was a relatively slight touch. I noticed later that there are lines showing where Lev is gonna move which helped but even still, there was a number of times where I put a platform in what seemed like a very good spot for him and it still wasn't right.
- There was a lot of noise with the platforms. I ignored a ton of them and while I understand maybe you were trying to have multiple different solutions to levels, it felt to me more like clutter honestly. This was especially difficult in the after levels because those platforms just got in the way. I understand that may have been intentional to increase the difficulty but it didn't feel fun, it just felt more annoying to me to try and avoid them, especially since the after levels were so much more difficult.
Overall, I genuinely loved your concept and a lot of the execution was great. I think fine tuning some of the gameplay elements could leave you with a really enjoyable, wonderful game!
Thank you for the detailed feedback, and we agree that the level design would've needed a bit more tuning, but decided to focus on other aspects of the game since we had limited time, if we come back to this game we definitelywill work on it, Thank you for playing :)
Very unique and innovative gameplay, took me a moment before I figured out what was happening :) Loved the tiny details like the idle animation and the dudes moving the platforms, and audio was also amazing. Great job overall!
That was really interesting! The art was great, the concept was really original. I did not expect to be behind the scenes helping my previous round. Great work!
Excellent game!
Very polished and well thought out. Lots of little details I really appreciated: the little winged dudes carrying the platforms, the stagnant animation, falling/jumping animations, sound effects, the character flying off the platform if you move it too quickly. This was really fun! I was getting frustrated because the shadow figure was leeroy jenkins-ing through the platforming before I realized that was me from the earlier screen and I had to go back and redo it slower so I could get him through haha. Great job!
This is such a good idea, I also really liked the sound.
I really enjoyed the art style, it reminds me of those old-school PC games from the 90s! I thought it was very interesting when it switches up to you controlling the level. Super fun and impressive level design!
Very challenging, but the idea is really cool. I enjoyed this game a lot!
Solid entry! Very well polished and a fun experience from beginning to end. Balanced art and challenge. :)
Charming artwork and gameplay, music and SFX fit quite well too. I like the second half of each level where you control all the moving platform in accordance to what you played previously, I would probably prefer the path shows immediately rather than after a few retries. Other than that, great work on the submission!
The art is really great, environment & player
The two phases between playing the character and then making him reach the end is also a nice twist, though I can’t finish the third or fourth (after inferno one) level because it says « no moves left, press space to restart » but I made the character reach the end, he just stops before the star :(
Concept is cool and music / sfx is well handled, I love the gasping from the crowd when I make jumps lol
Ambience music is also great, this is a very polished game, congrats 🙏
this was so creative and well executed. I loved the dynamic of the game, personally I had never played in a platformer concept like this before. I was honestly quite inspired by it, its such a cool game
the visuals/atmosphere are beautiful too, I loved some of the sound effects: like when the guy dies and everyone in the theather gasps, or at some point a phone started ringing hahah
it did take me a little bit to understand how to play after you were done jumping around. I died repeatedly because the guy just wouldn't move the way I expected, so I was like how does it work? But then it clicked and it was fantastic. So my only suggestion would maybe to make it a little bit easier to understand at first.
Although the above cause some hilarious moments, because I was trying to lift the platforms up and the guy would (randomly it seemed) jump up, causing him to shoot upwards incredibly fast and smash his head, causing some funny sound effects!
but overral a fantastic submission, I very much enjoyed playing it!
thank you for playing, really glad you enjoyed it. we wanted to have the player the 'aha moment' when they figure out that the second run is really their movement, like for you when it clicked :). tho maybe in the future when time allows it maybe we can add a truly tutorial level also.
A cool concept. The visuals are good and the environment is well set. The cursor levels do have some issues. It recreates the motion of the player from the platforming level I assume?
In the second level, I collected all the stars and I did jump back to a platform once. The replica player jumped back too but between the two platforms creating a soft lock. I wasn't able to play beyond that.
thanks for playing the game! there is an option to redo your original run on the level by pressing the Q button, if you feel your platforming soft locks you out of finishing the ghost level. we added it because these things and some hitbox issues came up during playtesting but yeah, one week only allowed this fix and polish. anyways hope you had fun until you got stuck!
Cool game,
I really like the art style and graphics
I like the idea of switching between moving the character and then the platform
The movements of the character are based on what you do in the previous round no? I think that's cool if it is.
I found it funny that if you move the platform up too fast you launch the character so high they go out of play
Good job!
Yes it is recorded and played back just as you did in the "first run". Thank you for playing, happy you liked it.
Nice game! I really liked the graphics and the overall setting and how you executed it.
It took me a little while to understand that the character moves in the (wherer you have to move platforms) sections the same way I had moved before, but once I figured that out, I thought it was really cool! :D
Thank you for playing!
The second level is really like hell, hahaha! Overall i enjoy playing ur game, great job!
Super cool! The switching between playing and moving the platforms was really cool and it made me think about how I was moving. I wanted to move as simply as possible to make it easier for me later. Great job!
