Very cool game! I really enjoyed playing it!
Personally, I got through it without any issues understanding what to do, it felt very intuitive. The controls felt great, and I really liked the different gameplay mechanics. For example, the switching blocks fit the theme well (additional) :D
I also liked the art style. And I really appreciate that you can pause the game with Escape :)
Hmm, I couldn't get out of the PIN entry screen. It's pretty bad if you forget the PIN for the exit door while you're underwater and only have a few minutes of oxygen left😂
(Unfortunately, I couldn't continue playing afterward because the door was still locked from the other side even after I respawned)
But overall, I really liked the atmosphere. The underwater feeling definitely came across really well. :)
Bro, those human sounds! At first I actually thought someone was standing behind me in real life.
I really like the art style.
Gameplay-wise, I thought it was really cool that once you reach 20, so you have to try to get exactly to 0. The only thing I felt was that getting down from 100 took a bit too long.
Overall cool game!
Haha, and it's really funny that I can just insult him. You are A RAT! 😉
Oh, you're right. (⊙ˍ⊙)
It was all intentional because it was actually possible to level up a few levels, at least. So "when an enemy dies" for example, also gets triggered when you run into enemies. But progressing with that has, since the last update, accidentally become dependent on whether you get the two-variable value.
And actually, you were only supposed to get gain XP as a non damage option... hmm, I'll take a look.
Thanks for letting me know. (•ω•`)
Nice Game! I really love that you have to take care of the heart and that you can damage it yourself in various ways, that’s a really cool mechanic. I think it could fit well if the player character were able to block projectiles, but that’s just an idea. I also thought the visuals were simpel and good.
One small thing: I think in the description you might have swapped the controls for dash and laser.
Very cool game! The atmosphere really pulled me in. I especially liked the beginning, when you had to figure everything out yourself, or example when you realize you can close your eyes and things like that...
One thing is, I’m not sure if it was a monster I just didn’t see, but sometimes I felt like I died kind of randomly.
Cool game! :D
Really, really cool game. It kept popping back into my head, which is why I’ve already played it several times.
I didn’t play Dragonsweeper, but I really like how enemies interact with the world here. The roguelike approach and building your own build (revealing them, increasing XP, etc.) is something I found very cool.
I’m personally not a big fan of characters only differing by their starting item.
What I do really like is that you can see enemies early that you can’t (or don’t have to) defeat yet, and then encounter them later and understand their purpose.
Sometimes it was a bit frustrating to me, similar to Minesweeper. One moment of inattention and booom, game over. I think that has its charm (with mimics, bombs, etc.) and i liked it, But as an exampel, attacking a revealed enemy with 5 HP when you only have 3 lives left, just because you weren’t paying attention, feels unnecessarily punishing. (Maybe a small confirmation pop up would help)
Also: why isn’t XP collected automatically after defeating an enemy?
Anyway… this turned into half a bible😅
Cool game, I had a lot of fun! :D
P.S.: I’m absolutely not a fan of Ai art; "Are we players really worth being presented with cheap, soulless Ai art?"
