Wow, this game is brilliant! Unfortunately, I haven’t found the Draks seeds to move on to the next part :/
Hey, thanks for playing! Tô finding it, maybe you wanna talk with all the NPCs, maybe even more than once 👀
If you still don't find them, I hope you still enjoyed the game :D
Nice game. The art style and the music somehow gave me a really relaxing vibe. I really liked it, especially the music. it's simple but really cool. And the fact that you made all of this yourself is really awesome.
The only thing I found a bit off was the knight's movement, which felt a little too sluggish. Or, if that was intentional, I felt like it didn't quite match the animation. But overall very coll game!
Nice little game. Graphics and sound design are top notch. Reminded me of the Adventure time episode :)
Yeees that was my main inspiration! :D
Thanks for playing!
The art looks awesome! The retro style is well made. The sound effects were also really satisfying. I liked the premise of the story, though I didn't have much choice over being a thief or not; if I wanted to finish the game, it seemed like I had to take the boot anyway. I think it's alright for the premise that EVERYONE becomes a thief in there, though it would also be cool saying 'AH! I got you, I'm not a thief like you said' type of thing. The player controls were a bit strange since it seemed like the terrain was slippery, I suggest increasing the acceleration and deceleration. I also noticed the player was jittering while moving, I think the camera is moving smoothly between fractional values and with pixel art it becomes jittery; to fix it you can round up the global position of the camera. The attacks were a bit difficult to land since the enemies could arrive from every direction and the attack was limited to right and left. It would be useful to being able to attack all around the player. Also the npcs got stuck time to time into things, I'd suggest you to use some type of pathfinding; Godot is really good with it since it has already A* pathfinding implemented.
Overall really interesting submission!
Actually the game HAS a way of completing it without theft, good luck finding it out 👀
The other things... I hope I had time to polish them up lol, the enemies do use pathfinding but I prob messed up something with the obstacles ☹️
I also hope you still enjoyed haha, thank you for your feedback!
You got me right there, I should have looked better 👀 I found a way to do it without stealing :D
Love the visuals, especially the smoking animations, and the dialogue is good! I wish I could attack in more directions though but overall great game!!
Thank you for playing! :D
Neat little game, feels very polished !
I really liked the visuals and the dialogue
The combat is a little under the rest though
I wonder how many endings there are ?
Thank you!!
Wouldn't call them "endings" cuz I couldn't work on anything rather than the dialogue x) but there are 7 possible ending dialogues to get!
Well, our 3 endings are just a newspaper as well, to me it still counts as endings !
I might try to find the other endings later on I think, I'm intrigued
The art and music are great and really fit the vibe of the game. I loved it when I gave the last guy the boots the dude just spun into the abyss that made me laugh. I also really like the dialogue system in the game giving the player different options to reply with. Only slight issue I personally had was that I felt as if I was skating on ice when I walked and felt as if I would glide a bit when I wanted to stop but that's a personal nit-pick of mine. Other than that fun game great job!
Thank you for your feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed and even more glad you noticed the boots guy lol
I really like the color palette and vibes. And, I like how you get some conversations and trickery along with the combat.
The game has a good vibe, I like the tone and the colors. Good job! I did have some difficulty with the controls. At some point I stopped being able to interact with [E] and could only interact with [ENTER]. I thought for a minute that I couldn't interact at all.
Thank you!
But wait, at some point you could interact with [E]?
No, sorry I misremembered when I was typing, it was [SPACE] but still same issue. I know I was able to interact with the first NPC and a trash can, but then it just stopped working and I had to use [ENTER] the rest of the time.
The vibe and visuals are great; I think the movement and combat could have been a bit more snappy, it did feel that the character was running around on ice :)
Thank you for your feedback!!
Imma be honest, I really don't know what's this "ice movement" x)
Maybe the camera is not with the best of the settings so it looks like the character is slippery
Or maybe I don't have that much knowledge to make sure the movement is on point lol
anyway I hope you still enjoyed it :D
I saw the development in Discord, it’s really cool.
Thank you!!
Has a vibe of undertale. The camera felt a bit jittery though and the characters walking feels like he is on the ice. Overall I did like the atmosphere of the game. Nice job!
Thank you for your feedback!!
Nice game!
Not totally sure that I like the controls though, mostly because they feel awkward for the fights.
Good job anyway :)
Yeah the layout is more what my heart told me more than a study of what other games use xD
Thank you for playing!
That was a very enjoyable gameplay experience! The visuals and music are also very pleasant. I tried all the options at the end. :) Great work overall!
oohh nice to see you tried all endings! Thank you!!
This one just feels so calming, really enjoyed playing this, I can see how it relates to the theme. Nice one ^^
Thank you!! ^^
Awesome! Loved the color palette, loved how well it fits with the theme of the jam. Music was nice, movement was smooth. Great little game!
Thank you! :D
