a couple sound effects and scripts were taken from previous projects of mine

Wonderful game with a heartfelt story! Platformer elements are just about right to not feel bored by going in the same direction but also not too much to distract from the story. Amazing entry for the jam and great job!:)

Very soothing, calming & I should say personal experience you gave me totally unlike what my game gave you. Insane polish for a 7 day game, amazing storytelling, great animations, good shader work (or were those hand framed?) , amazing controller feedback, great atmosphere, and the list goes on, has a very unique take on the theme too, the ending sent chills down me (please remove that sound effect tho 😭)
If I had to really really nitpick: the collision geometry of the characters and env & bg assets can be tweaked a little as if felt off a few times, otherwise top marks!!

It's a love letter! A really wonderful one. I think the platforming is just right to not distract from the actual core.

glad you enjoyed! i honestly was planning to add more but just really wasn’t inspired :P i didn’t worry too much about it since the platformer part is just a vessel for the story but i do wish that id made some parts a bit more interesting

Everything is in pixel art with unity’s pixel perfect camera on top to make sure everything stays snapped to the grid :D
This game was beautiful. I really think that the story's layout was great, and I feel that this game has an amazing visual style that makes it feel alive, but everything moves like a dream witch makes sense since dreams are like memories. Overall amazing lost for words

This was an absolutely beutifull game, and I love how bouncy your character is. I don't really have much to add to this, its beautiful as it is. Also very glad you added something if you scored with the ball, nice.
