How does the game fit the theme?
i mean the theme is strange places and the whole game is literally the weirdest place most people visit every single night but never pay attention to. the stuff you see when you close your eyes for long enough yk? it happens to everyone, but turning it into a game environment with its own emotions feels strange and brain scratching in the best way.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
none. everything was made procedurally in lua by me :), every procedural shape every shitty little particle, sfx, palette shifts, even the garbage typing sound for text. no ripped sprites or snippets

loved the ui!
Incredible visual design..I think making everything procedurally made this feel so cohesive - a really polished experience. And I totally get all these patterns when I close my eyes too....
The art style is so coo, true artl! Definitely my favorite part. Also lovely idea with the colors seen behind the eyes it's a unique take on the theme. Has an etherial and slightly eerie feeling. I was having some trouble reading the green text. It shows for a short time before moving over the central orb.
Really cool idea, and the concept is wild! Really well done pixel art too. The sound and music is a bit much, especially with the notes that are drawn out. Interesting game!
Awesome style. I feel seen with the line about leaving the door unlocked lol.
This is so inspired!! I'm so curious on how you made the back ground patterns.
Lord glorpion from nowhere cuisine says you changed his perspective about taking over the universe!
Very creative take on the theme. Really enjoyed the visuals! Can't really say I've seen anything like it.
Great idea, truly innovative thinking, and well executed too. This is my first jam, I must say I'm really impressed by the creativity and diversity of games people came up with :)
My first jam too <3
Yey, us! ;) I'll go test your game now.
Very creative idea visually, narratively, and great use of the theme!
Really nice game. Nice visuals, i loved the gameplay. The sound design broke my ears too 😭
Otherwise really addictive!
Cool game. I love the idea and I think it relates to the theme very well also the visuals were beautiful. I think the game was a bit too simple and samey and I think it would be really cool to turn this into I guess a more complex dodging game but I understand there was a time constraint. Nevertheless I think it was great and very fun
Cool
The art style is very unique. I like it! But the sounds were unfortunatly a bit anoying.
Definitely interesting idea and visuals. I think that gameplay would be better being somewhat more slowpaced, having target thoughts to spawn overtime, and bad ones to despawn after some time, because it's not really possible to read thoughts except for first and last level. And most high-pitched sounds is just annoying and painful to ear tbh, but if they should represent tinnitus then good job I guess.
I really like the idea you came up with for the jam's prompt! Creating concept and cool visuals! Gameplay itself wasn't very difficult, but quite enjoyable:)
The sound was probably meant to set up the mood - and I guess it does, but it was not exactly to my taste, so I muted it while playing.
Creative interpretation of the theme. I like that you had a story to tell. As other have mentioned about the sounds it would get frozen on some really high pitch noises while I was reading through the next stage of the story so I ended up muting it. Overall nice job.
I seriously love where you took the theme with this game! It's unique and touches on some really interesting ideas.
The visuals are super cool and felt like they suited the narrative of the game really well. I felt myself wanting to linger on the words that were floating around on the screen, but they were difficult to read. Which I feel lends itself to the narrative.
The only thing I did not enjoy was the music. The sound effects were alright, but the music made it quite difficult to play the game with headphones on. I feel like this kind of game would've suited something deeper with less of a melody (if that makes sense). But overall, very cool entry, well done!
a very unique concept, I loved all the colours, shapes, and patterns, and you captured intrusive thoughts really well. nicely done!
Very cool and pretty! I love procedural stuff and you did such an amazing work!
The only think thatI dont like if that you can just spam Z, I woudl make it in a way that you have to be careful when you use it to not run out of them when you'll need them, but I thinki you didnt want to make a difficult game so its fine like it is
This was really creative and surreal, I loved playing this. It felt kind of eerie and personally I thought the music was nice because it enhanced that feeling of something being not quite right. The colors and the concept were both so cool too. Great game!
