It looks, sounds and feels very good, beautiful game. Congratulations!
My only issue was and still is that I’m not sure if this is an auto battler or I have to click anything during the fights:)
Ok, I figured it out with some help from the game page, you apparently have to type those phrases. Well, that’s something new to me.
Tiny idea that came to my mind - those phrases could be the lines of the poem that you can show to the player at the end of the game.
Gorgeous art! Didn't realise it was an auto battler at first so I was clicking around like crazy haha.
The artwork is amazing, but the gameplay didn't catch me. I think it would feel better if the music wasn't just an ambient sound.
Absolutely stunning artwork. Instantly put me right in the world of the game and I saw the vision. I do wish I could toss organs at any time as I lost a lung that probably would've saved my run.
Art style is really neat and the mechanic of different organs contributing different attributes. An in game tutorial feature or introduction would make this shine even more in my opinion. Great work!
Woww I see the vision!! Though I felt like some attributes were a bit abstract you guys did a great job for 7 days
The art in this game is incredible, so are the mechanics and the gameplay. I had a blast playing it. Great work!
Hey, another roguelike!
The tree/deer thing kept killing ultra quick for my first 3 or 4 runs, so I stocked up on damage resist and regen and that was enough to breeze through.
There seems to be no way to get rid of organs other than trashing them at a shop, is that intended?
it was very sad to let all of those crazy good organs behind in act 3 because I was already full
The art is awesome ! Liked the gameplay of rythm game for fight. May need more feedback when getting hit. Did get far enough to play with the tetris of the inventory system, seemed to give some interesting choices :)
Feel free to test our game !
Loved the idea of changing organs for benefits. I also liked the progress tree, how each time the game restarted it was different and how sometimes you find treasure or a shop. It took me a while before I understood what was going on.
Great atmosphere and world building
Interesting approach on the mechanics, wasn't obvious from the beginning but it got better in the next rounds, i like the art!
Nice game. I think it was very enjoyable although I wish the game were explained better and maybe if the player could maybe have actions they can do like typing a word in to trigger an ability that has a cooldown or maybe influencing how often words appear more directly. Absolutely amazing art style and a really neat cool idea. Well done!
I love the art style
I also loved the Slay The Spire feel of the game
I wish there was more strategy to it in fights since you just have to wait and hope for the best
unfortunately there was no audio for me. Not sure why that's the case
I'd definitely love to see this expanded on
Great job!
Liked the game! Some fights felt a bit boring since the player doesn’t have much to do during them. Also, having four lungs was kind of funny :)
The art direction and soundtrack create a strong atmosphere.
The writing mechanic is a clever gameplay hook, and pairing it with roguelike progression makes the concept stand out.
Really well done! 💚
If you’re checking other submissions, I’d appreciate it if you tried ours too.
Visually stunning. You should be very proud.
Amazing visuals.
I was not able to play through the full game though, I always was beat up very quickly :( Maybe I was just unlucky with the organs I received.
With some balance and some improved UX, this could become a nice game.
Good job :)
I really liked it, it was cool trying to type while timing the attacks right. The art is outstanding.
Great work by the artist. Loved the visuals. I don’t know how such complex systems were made in such less time but awesome job by the programmer too.
