The visuals are nicely stylized and charming. The sound is good, although the footsteps should stop playing mid-air. The gameplay is easy to learn, and although the final section was unclear with how slanted jumping works, the game was still short and sweet enough to not make that a big issue. Nice work to the team.
thanks yeah we need to polish things for sure, but thanks for playing the game and giving it a try.
I really liked the art, but it was a little bit too hard for me to play! Love the concept of trying to escape the sinking titanic :D
The game needed a ton of testing to get all the mechanics right, but what can you do with only 7 days? Thanks for playing though!
What a unique idea. I liked it. Great job.
Thanks! You can thank @Gie13 , our designer, for the concept.
Heyy! Really cool concept. I love how the stage progresses as the ship sinks and the story is interesting too. I'm annoyed I'm unable to clear it though. The controls just get too difficult to use towards the end. Like I get that ties into the physics of the whole ship sinking, but it's a little hard to understand how exactly I should jump diagonally when I'm pulled back.
It's okay, we know it's a bit of a struggle to get to the end of the boat, but we appreciate you playing and giving it a try. Thanks!
This is such a creative take on the theme! Definitely not gonna use Chit GPT for any of my reports. I loved the character portraits and thought it was very cool when the ship started to tip upwards and the water rose; it gave everything a sense of urgency. The movement was a little fussy, but that worked well for the "walking on a sinking ship" feeling. I got the book but I don't think I ever encountered any rain forest parts; I think I maybe skipped the part of the ship where those were.
Well done, and congratulations on completing the jam!
Thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to give us feedback. Very very appreaciated.
