How does the game fit the theme?
You land in a strange world, but it's not just the environment. You have to build a relationship to the Place itself, and it rewards you in strange, unexpected ways. You also meet unusual friends.
The strangeness is accentuated by unusual colours - like purple grass/trees and blue wood.
[Spoiler Alert]
As you rebirth, you discover there are multiple strange places, to match the theme being in 'plural'.
The story's about how it's like to be an 'outcast', feeling like you're an alien in a strange place which connects to the theme narratively.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Wrote all gameplay code. Drew all the wish icons.
Did majority of 3D models and lighting/post processing effects.
Except base models of: Bush, Flower, character models, VFX and UI sprites, which were modified to fit the game.
Music from Purple Cat. Sounds externally sourced.
External packages for boilerplate systems like Settings System, Save System, Inventory System, Grid System, were used.

Really cool how you translated the theme into mechanics, nice work!
Very cool resource collecting game. Good gameplay feel. I chose to leave but I regret
I LOVE this game. The amount of effort is incredible. The vibes you get by playing this game I just cant describe. It feels simple, calm and so chilling. Masterpiece, should be at least top 5 if not winning
Fenomenal game considering it was made by one person in a week. It is so relaxing, cozy, polished. A game jam game with graphic options is rare. The game is beautiful, and I liked to do all the finals. Simple gameplay, but it satisfized me.
In overall, it's a great game. Great job bro!
Wow, your timing is just as phenomenal! Under 5 minutes! :O
Glad that you like the game vibes and appreciate the kind words, I'll continue to push out updates once the jam ends! :)
Very relaxing and chill game. It's really impressive that this was done in just a week, it is super polished and feels like a complete package.
This is a very cute game - I definitely had to play enough to get all three endings! Great work :)
This is a great game. Sort of like a 3D clicker, where you harvest resources in a semi-idle manner. I wasn't expecting the rebirth mechanic to appear, but that made me replay it multiple times and the draw of the best ending made me keep playing.
This is a really well polished game, and the audio, visuals and UI are all top tier, with a simple but engaging mechanic which means you don't get bored after the first run, and and end goal for you to aim for.
Great work putting this together in a week.
This is sweet game, soft palette and music that slowly drifts into the background. The gameplay of this is real smooth, so much so that I would often role right off :) I enjoyed the wish addition to the upgrade tree, its a sweet way to look at it. Im sad thou that everything had to die.
Pretty impressive!
This was SO CUTE!!! I loved it so much, I instantly downloaded it because I need to have this game and replay it as much as I want. Wonderful work!! Thank you, your game was really really entertaining, I had such a great time playing.
What an outstanding game, congratulation ! Great choice on the music, it adds so much !
Very relaxing game! Can't stop playing 😍
The game feels really well made, Great job!
For a gamejam title you have done an amazing job communicating everything through the UI. Astral Bloom was very pleasant to pick up from the get go.
PS: Your GIFs and screenshots are amazing! ^^
Beautiful game! very impressive work, good job!
Impressive that you did it all by yourself! Such a cute game, and love the rebirth mechanic. The lil guy is super cute too!
Easily one of my favorites I've played so far this jam. This game made me forget about the jam, about evaluating or comparing or thinking what cool features could be added. I found myself just playing, just pulled into this sweet little world. Really elegant way of shifting your needs so you always feel there's a new task to do. Excited to replay, wonderful job.
5 stars all the way across. This was such a chill experience. I have yet to become a star, but I've rebirthed a few times and gained heritage. The feel is quite chill and very immersive. I always feel a bit bad if I decide to choose the leave ending. I'm curious if the name has special significance.
PS, I remember your entry from the last Brackey's - very different direction with the clicker/resource counter mechanic but just as fun. I'm glad you joined here too
Hey there! Sorry I didn't reply earlier, glad you like the experience! It's always glad to see people from past jams coming back for sure! Will check out your game shortly :)
This was great, I absolutely loved the vibe that the game has. The visuals are stunning and the audio pairs well with the whimsiness of the game, excellent choice!
Take my money and put this game on steam
haha I don't know if you are serious but after much consideration, my friend told me to do it, so I'm actually gonna go for it!
I'm excitedly creating the storepage right now!~
Let me know when I can Wishlist :)
Heya, I remembered you and thought I'd let you know that I've created the Steam page and will release the demo there in 5 days (13th March)!

Omg you made all of this in a week?! hell yeah! what a well done and polished experience.
I felt honestly bad when I got the leave ending but a choice had to be made T_T. Loved the writing and all the invisible systems you guys made. Great job!
