Cool concept, saddly its way too easy to complete each level since the snapping is way too strong...

I feel like maybe adding positions that are not the correct ones could sove the issue, tho it might become frustrating and frustration is never good in a cozy game.

gg for making it to the release !

Love the concept of this game so much ! 💖✨🌠
We would have preferred the star to not automatically snap to their intended places.
Maybe the small and transparent background stars could be hints of possible positions for the stars to place ?
That means their positions would be random for the decoy stars.
Also, when the stars are correctly placed, we think that it could be nice to have a subtle glow behind them, in addition to the dancing movement, so it would be easier to identify the remaining stars to place.
Those elements aside, it is a really nice game, very cute and implementing the theme brilliantly !
Congrats for this very good job 🌈

Very creative and unique idea! Could use some ux improvements, but the core principle is great. Also, the level selection is gorgeous :D.

Very enjoyable game and very lovely presentation of it! I enjoyed the puzzles and wnated to congratulate you on combining the theme and subtheme marvelously! Very, very creative!
Think that the stars should change the color or glow when they are snapped. In two levels the ones that snapped were right next to the ones that didn't and it was a bit hard to see which one wasn't dancing. Also some of the stars in the reflection went in to the snow and weren't visible. Maybe those could also alternate slightly in color or the reflection pond needs to be larger to accomodate all of the constelations.

The overall puzzle is very easy which goes with the cozy vibes, but I think that it could be improved if every star had a different aspect to it so that it needs to go exactly where it is supposed to based on the reflection. I realise this was not feasible for the provided timeframe, but it maybe could be something if you decide to build on this further.  Maybe it would be interesting if the constelation once it is built creates a background image of the sign that it created? Some fancy fade effect or something to reward the player for constructing it along with the line effect you created. Once again, very well done!

pretty nice game. would've preferred if the stars didn't snap to place and instead test if it's close enough so your attempt would feel more special and stars still being movable even if it's the right spot because it blocks other stars that I'm trying to move. but my main gripe is that the reflection doesn't meet at the horizon line. it keeps on messing me up because the starts are placed higher than they should be based on the horizon line.  picture for reference

still, had a great time. amazing work

Really nice concept and the presentation was top notch, I also really liked the background music!

It's a very good idea, but automatically moving the stars to the desired position greatly simplifies the game. If you plan to develop the game further, you can solve this problem by allowing player to draw lines between the stars before the level is completed.

Nice job. Good use of the theme and nice amount of content!

Creative concept! Cold, but calm atmosphere. Cute.

The hitboxes are very generous, but if someone wants to engage with the puzzle elements of the game without "cheating", I think they can still do that.

hahahha i just couldnt resist smashing every stard everywhere till it fits but the concept was pretty

yeah, a friend of mine tried putting all stars in the middle and it kinda worked too soo- yeah idk xd Thanks for playing!

This reminded me of the times spent looking for constellations as a kid. Very enjoyable game.

Developer

Tysm! I did that aswell.

As others have said: this is super cozy and a great idea. However, the snapping of the stars makes it too easy, I found I was able to drop them arbitrarily where ever and most of the time they ended up snapping into the proper place without any effort on my end. Other than that, I really liked this idea.

This is very cozy! I love the art!

Developer

Thank you, the art is from a friend of mine ^^

The game is really cozy and entertaining. I wish it was a little more challenging, but I still enjoyed it. Good job!

I played all 12 levels, it was fun, very cute, I liked the surroundings, it's a very nice game, there were some challenging parts but I really liked it. I would be very happy if you played our game too :3

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! I'll try to play as many games as I can! Lookin forward to play yours!

Thank you so much! I'd also like to add that it could be a very cute and popular mobile game; keep it in mind if it gets developed.

Cute and cozy winter project, nice work. Not sure there's a huge amount of challenge but that's fine for this kind of thing.

Developer

Thank you, and yes, there's not really a challenge, but i think it fits the cozy theme. But the snapping is higher than planned ^^' So yeah xd

Nice, creative idea, but a bit too easy because even when I was trying to carefully place the stars in the correct position the assist would just set the position for me.

Might work better with a distance based scoring system.

Developer

That's a great idea! Thanks for your feedback.

Amazing and unique idea, but it feels like the aim assist does all the work and it's hard to tell exactly how high up a point should actually be, with it sometimes being off the screen or cut off by the land around the lake

Developer

Thank you for the feedback, the magnetic aim assist wasn't planned to be that high. Maybe i'll try to fix it after the jam! ^^
