How does the game fit the theme?
In this game, you're a small bug who accidentally found their way inside a human's terrarium. All the plants may look real, but they certainly don't feel or taste real. So it's time to get out of there, or you may never feel the touch of real grass again!
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Music and SFX were sourced from Freesound (all credited and linked in the description)

Very cute artstyle!
The wall jump does not convince me, for the rest, very impresive! This is a lot of map for a 7 day jam!
I love the littel bug, I would love you had time to make more of it!
The art looks pretty neat. As mentioned in other comments some sort of checkpoints would be neat since there are a few challenging parts around the level. It would definitely help to have some sort of in game guide for the double jump and wall climb though I did figure it out after a bit.
On the side note, the jumping and wall jumping feels a bit off but I cannot place a handle on how it feels a bit wonky but probably a good idea to check for game feel there.
I really like the art of the game! It is really unique! Very good job for creating such an awesome game!
I really loved the music and the visuals :) although there could have been a specific animation for sliding on walls. the gravity was very "heavy" when I played the game, I would have preferred to be able to fly lighter and higher like a bug :)
Damn, I hope people don't usually place fake plants in their terrariums
Fun game, great job for a single dev!
I'll say some jumps felt a bit clunky, the way you clung to the walls sometimes bothered me.I'd also add some checkpoints because I kept dying a lot lol
Thanks for your submission!
It is nice! A controller support is usually good for these type of games.
I like the bug design, the environment was pretty too with the nice touch on the lighting. It was a little difficult jumping down without seeing where the spikes were, but it was doable. The climbing mechanic felt smooth, it was fun to interact with.
Nice game! The platforming controller is smooth and satisfying to play with, well done :)
Seen you on progzyy’s stream. I really liked your game and the little nods and nudges around. The music is awesome too.
Haha I remember seeing you on the stream too, how could I forget that mysterious game :D Thank you for the kind words!
Pleasant graphics and well-matched music. Gameplay was smooth and interesting, although too difficult for me. The only question remains: why did the humans put the spikes in their terrarium? Pure evil :-)
Thank you for the feedback! <3 You're totally right, the human who put those spikes there must be a cruel person indeed... pest control, maybe? :)
Super cute platformer and the walking animation was smooth. A ducking animation would be a nice extra touch.
Thank you! As someone new to the programming aspect of games, doing the animations was so relaxing compared to all the other stuff haha. Perhaps next time I'll let myself indulge more on the art side of things, I also love seeing the difference that those details can make ^^
Cute classic platformer with some lovely pixel art. Great work!!
Thank you very much! ^^
Quite fun game and i liked the visuals!:)
Aah I appreciate it, thank you for playing! <3
It was fun, without realizing it I ended up retrying over and over again, it really got me, great game!
Yess, I got somebody >:D Thank you very much for playing, I'm glad you liked it!
Its a bit frustrating falling and taking damage from something you cannot even see. But the visuals are so freaking beautiful. We're currently working on a game with humanoid moths like this one. I really love it.
Oh that's awesome, I love moth characters :D Good luck on your project! And yeah it's strange how those frustrating parts can go totally unnoticed while you're working on a game haha. I appreciate the feedback!
A very difficult gameplay curve! A fun little platformer though, nice job :)
Thank you very much! I appreciate it ^^
very good and very difficult
Thank you for playing! I'll keep in mind to go a little easier on the difficulty next time, checkpoints probably would have been a good idea here :p
