the controls are incredible responsive i didn't expect that

Fin Diesel killed me as well XD

5/5

Very very good! It was original, fun and with a cool presentation so what more could i ask? The commands were intuitive and so was the objective or the power ups. The risk of staying out of the water but the reward of getting many power ups made for an engaging experience. I feel like that at the present point maybe it's a little to easy so there could be more things to hinder the player. Good job!

Really nice game. I liked the idea of playing with fish out of water😂. Your decision to go out and collect items and plan to keep the fish alive and collect items like soda is cool. I also liked the sounds. Great work

Excellent work for your first entry. The game felt quite polished and the visuals were great. The jumping mechanic was very well implemented. Congrats.

Congrats on your first game! This was a very innovative and fun game! I think I ran into a bug where I was somehow losing air even though I was in one of the ponds? But other than that, good job!

This was way more fun than I expected. The whole idea is hilarious, but the jump charge plus breathing limit turns it into a tense little skill challenge where every hop matters. The aiming/charge feels really good once you get the hang of it.

I also loved the power-up gimmick, grabbing random stuff like soda/herbs and suddenly feeling juiced is funny out of context, but it works, and the SFX make it feel like you're really powering up. The art/UI is super charming too. Nice work, especially for a first attempt as a team!

Such a cute and hilarious concept! I loved the jumping mechanic and the breathing limit, it makes every hop feel important. The art style is very charming and the game feels very polished for a jam entry. Great job to the whole team!

Very cute and unique concept. I had some difficulty playing on a high resolution which made the text unreadable. But I was still able to get to the end and enjoy the game :)

Great job!

Pretty fun game where you play as a fish trying to hop from water to water on the way to the ocean. I like the breathing limit mechanic, and the controllable hop distance adds a nice bit of skill. The buff items are also pretty funny out of context, like soda or herbs somehow being buffs for the fish. Nice work!

Very cute game! I loved it!It was too easy tho, I reached the ocean first try (not that it is a bad thing)

wohhhh!!!!! sick game. Amazing concept. Will like to write few more one-words ; beautiful, cool sounding, easy to understand, polished, dropping the bait near water is evil game design (atleast killed me 4 times),

Very fun! Scales really well and feels natural as breath and speed increase over time. Puddles are forgiving enough. The buffs make a difference before the waiting gets tedious. Yes, I made it to the ocean and it felt splashy!

Game is tiny in browser; I zoomed my browser to read directions, and then put on my glasses and squinted really hard to play and it was (mostly) ok.

I could imagine this on mobile, perhaps as an alternative to counting sleep, as it is rhythmical, enjoyable and relaxing, and calming.

The gameplay was good, buffs were not making me super strong so I can stay out of water longer, also cute artstyle on game UI and objects. 3/5

Very enjoyable game! I would have liked to be able to have the game in fullscreen to read the description of the items, but apart from that, very well executed idea

Like a 2D version of the game that recently won Quebles Game Jam. Very well implemented aiming and jumping mechanic - my only complaint (which is tiny!) is the unevenly sized pixel sprites, but that also gives it a classic jam game feel. Fun game!

Very interesting interpretation of the theme!
Really enjoyed it. It's simple but engageing, loved the progression style and how easy it is to get into it.

It would be a great addition to add some obstacles, or areas that are harder but offer more rewards. As to include more challenges.

Great work!
