How does the game fit the theme?
Our game takes place inside the living artwork of children’s drawings, where strange places they’ve visited are brought to life. From a shoe store to a drunk uncle’s house, all the way to a Walmart checkout lane, every level is a weird and wonderful world seen through a kid’s imagination.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Everything in this game was made 100% from scratch for this jam.

Sound good. Art fun. But whn i lost and had to go back to the start was tilting at first i was expectingo like a checkpoint, but later i figure outt the foot and the mouse so i didnt strugle to go back to my current progress. At the end it felt better. On point with the theme.
i loved the visuals :) and the sfx are so funny! It's just a bit to hard to beat some enemies like the mice. They are too many! Can you rate my game?
tough game but SO charming and i think the fact that it's difficult works in its favor. it really reminds me of old Friv games that i used to play over and over again until i won! the art and sound and everything really are so charming so well done on making such a creative game :)
This game is so charming and downright addictive right off the bat! The art is so perfect, it reminds me so much of scribblenauts! I had a blast playing it, I only managed to get to the second level but I plan to continue to try and beat it! I just had to write my review real quick because this game is so amazing!
The child-like hand-drawn art style gives the game a really interesting charm. Each level also brings a nice variety in environments, which keeps things feeling fresh and engaging.
I’m not sure if it was intentional mechanic, but when the dragon gets staggered, I took the chance to jump on top of it and keep stomping. Dragon couldn’t really do anything about it until it died.
Overall though, really solid concept and presentation!
Beautiful Game!! I actually managed to beat the dragon after figuring out the optimal way to do certain things and got the game working pretty consistently!!
Loved how you implemented the theme, the game feel is definitely there! It was pretty tough though. I kept dying and had to restart every time, so I would've loved some health pickups. Still, the art and gameplay are honestly solid. Good stuff! :)
This game made me smile a lot! The aesthetic and art were funny and enjoyable. So creative!
The art and creative levels is definitely the strong suit, so I think it be good to remove anything that is tedious. In this case, what I found a bit tedious is the HP of the bosses. For example, I found having to stun the dragon boss more than 3 times was a bit much especially when the attacks didn't change. For me at least, the novelty is lost after the first playthrough, so dying and having to start all over was a sad ending for me.
Overall, I still had plenty of fun playing your game! Great work
Cute hand drawn art. I liked the breadsticks level and the belly jumping level the most.Really liked the comic book at home kind of feeling. Great job
Interesting idea, very strange! I found it quite hard and the gameplay was simple and a bit repetitive. There was not reason not to mash P as fast as you could all of the time. The foot was quite hard to hit when it was in its stompiest phase and I was overrun by mice at one point where I couldn't get off Uncle's belly (5/5 strange moment).
Thanks for the feedback and appreciate you playing! We realized later it might be too hard so that's a good takeaway for sure. I think each level has it's own variety that encourages movement without mashing but I would be impressed if you were able to win with just mashing the P button! Did you reach the end? Appreciate the feedback :)
Really loved this one! The art style was fantastic. the "ow" noises when i hit the foot were super funny
The art was really fun and creative and the places had some fun twists to them. I also liked how some of the environments had special gimmicks you could take advantage of, some made me surprised. All in all a good time
Really beutiful game, shows us really how kids see the world, the gameplay its fun and enjoyable, very interesting game!
Funny game with a really lovely art style. I was very charmed by it and had a fun time playing. Well done for making everything from scratch! My one note is I think some of the enemies could have had lower health. It felt like the leg took ages to take down, especially since you've got to repeat it if you die from the rats. The rats would also be more manageable (but still challenging) if they were taken out with one jump instead of two. In a game like this, you want to give the player the best chance of seeing all the levels, and even with lower-health enemies I think there's enough fun challenge in the involved in dodging, moving and throwing projectiles
Thanks for the feedback! I think that's a big takeaway from this game jam. Not everybody wants to spend too much time since there are tons of more games to play. I agree we should have made it a little easier so each level can be appreciated! Especially since each level is equally awesome. Thanks for the feedback and for playing :)
This was super charming and genuinely funny. The art absolutely sells the feeling of being inside a chaotic notebook world. I stuck it out to the end and loved the credits roll. It was nice being able to actually look at all the art assets peacefully instead of trying to survive for my life the while time lol.
The mouse level was definitely the toughest for me. It took me a minute to realize I could just jump on them. I kept running to the edges of the room, throwing cans, and completely whiffing lol. The gameplay is simple but surprisingly still really fun. Switching up the projectile art was a nice touch, too. Small thing, but kept things fresh.
This was a really fun, personality-filled game. You can tell your team had a blast making it.
Something I love: I love the weirdness! The art style really enhances the vibe too; they coexist very well! I love how I could jump on that guy's stomach, environment design like that is always a plus!
Things I wish were included: I do wish that if I lost a level I would replay that level and keep moving forward. Starting at the first level all over again hurts (Especially when I want to see more of your game, but my fingers are tired lolol)
Bugs I found: None! :)
Overall: It's a challenging game, but a good one! I love the weird vibe; you really hit it out the park with that! Great job! Keep up the great work!
The game is simple and punishing in a fun way which made me want to play it more. I like the art style and bouncing on the sitting man's stomach was funny! Good job!
