Really like the atmosphere and the game’s environment. Really polished game. Amazing work!

Great atmosphere. Beautiful looking game. Excels in all categories tbh. Hope you score as high as this deserves. Cheers.

Developer

Thank you so much, mate, for the kind words, it means a lot to us <3

One of the best games of this jam (if not the best). I’m amazed at how well everything works together, the audio, art, and gameplay. 5/5

I didn’t manage to reach the end yet. I ran out of bullets against two monsters. I think I used my bullets and saved, and then I couldn’t find more ammo. I’ll try to finish the game the next time I play.

I’m going to follow you guys, you clearly know what you’re doing. Keep up the good work 💪

Yo bro if you could see me right now you would know how red I got from blushing! Your words mean world to us, and experiences like yours are the reason why we do it and try do our best every time! Thank you so much for the kind words. I haven't yet played your game yet but it looks sick as well!

PS Our game is designed in a way that allows you to beat it without firing a single bullet or ever finding a gun ;) While gun can makes things easier (or harder) its been proven by many people who played our game  that you can completly ignore it. When you beat the game let us now what you thought about the ending ;)

Now I can sneak past the monsters, and I got a lot further. Can you tell me what to do at the corn field or how to find the ID for the door? I really want to finish the game. 😅

And what is the blue stuff on the ground? Some audio effect happens when standing on it.

Developer
Blue Stuff Spoiler

that’s broken glass, when you step on it it makes noise that can alarm nearby enemies and make them investigate the source of the noise

Corn Fields Hint

There is a note in the cloudy room, next to the levitating door, that contains a hint/tip on what to do in the corn fields. Check it out again and see if it helps ;) If you still struggle, I will tell you the solution to the puzzle in the next spoiler tag.

Corn Field Solution

Follow the gaze of the scarecrow. If the scarecrow looks to the right, take the first right exit; if it looks to the left, take the first left exit; and if it looks down, go with the middle. At the end, you will receive the key from the scarecrow that will allow you to progress and get to the ID card ;)

Welp, that’s it, good luck, and if you need more help just let us know ;)

Thank you! You made me blush irl :)

Nice this was actually pretty scary! I think you nailed the strange places theme, and also did a good job making this feel consistent and polished. The world probably has the most depth out of any entry I've played so far. However, the real horror game is seeing that you submitted just 2 minutes before the deadline! Yikes, glad you made it.

My only point of feedback is it took me a very long time to figure out how to progress at a certain point. The room with the broken glass (i did not have a weapon yet).

Very creepy vibe though, and nice job with the controls

Submitted(+2)

Super cool, I got genuinely scared when facing the blade monster!

Submitted(+2)

Nice, very polished for game jam. Gives me chills and dead space vibe lol. Visuals are over the top :) Great work!

Submitted(+2)

Very well polished game for a week! I think the game needs some instructions for the controls, either in-game or on the itch page.

Developer

Thank you for kind words. Also there are instructions for the controls available in the game whole time, in main menu under tab controls, and in game pause menu under Esc or P.

Sorry about that! Reviewing my rating after this info. Having some in-game tutorials would still be a good addition tho.

Developer

All good no harm done ;)

Impressive game, especially in the context of a gamejam. It was super polished and as some other people said before it does remind me a bit of Lone Survivor... which is a good thing, of course!

An high note for me is the sound design, hearing the monsters footstep getting closer or farther while hiding was awesome.

Great work!

Developer

Sorry ! I missed your comment, thank you so much for your kind words! You are 100% correct, as one of the main inspirations for gameply was indeed Lone Survivor. We are so happy you enjoyed our little game, we work extremly hard to pull it of and are proud of the end result <3

I feel really dumb asking this but can I ask what I am supposed to do? I saved in the save thing in the wall and in the next room theres an eye interaction thing that light off my light, idk what I am suposed to do here.

I love the vibes of this game and for what I saw I think it may be an amazing game, I love horror pixel art things (it reminds me a little bit of Carrion), I would love a littel hint so I can finish it 👀

Developer

If you got the gun try to find red note thats talking about the blades. Also remember you can sneak. Check controls innmain menu or press P during gameplay. If you still have a problem let us now and we will help further, but Im sure you got this;) good luck

That's hell of impressive for a week ! Remind a bit of the lone survivor game but with a kind of cosmonaut !
Congrats !

Feel free to test our game !

Developer

Lone Survivor was def one of our inspirations for the game. Good catch ;)

Wow I love the art style!

Submitted(+2)

Cool horror. It was interesting wandering through the dark corridors... until I stumbled upon a monster from the darkness. ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ This game has a very good atmosphere.

A serious drawback is that the controls are not explained, and you have to figure out what to press yourself. Although I figured it out pretty quickly.

Excellent work. I liked it.

Developer

you have access to the list of controls whole time in the game, first in the main menu and from the pause menu

Super impressive for just 1 week, you've fixed all the bugs and I had no issues! The story was intriguing and I don't fully understand the ending but it definitely made me want to figure out what's going on. The visuals are incredible, all the spritework, lighting, and environmental effects add a lot. My favorite part was probably the gunshot, the light and subtle sprite changed looked incredible. The sounds of the monsters walking and broken glass were great, I think there was some corn rustling in the later section could've added a bit but the section was still really cool. The whole game had a great atmosphere and managed to be tense while not being too tedious, The game feels basically complete, great work!

Submitted(+2)

The atmosphere is really good. Sometimes I feel like I have to do the action twice for it to happen. Otherwise it's pretty polished and the pixel art is beautiful.

Developer

You are correct, we noticed that some people experience an issue with action button. It seems to depend on your PC and the browser you are using to play. If you are using Mozilla Firefox the issue is more likely to occur and performance takes major hit. Though we had people who reported that Firefox was the browser, the game run best on. Thank you for playing <3

Submitted(+2)

Wow this is really great, such a polished game. Good job on this!

Developer(+1)

Hi brother, what bug you talking about exactly? The game breaking crash has been fixed an hour ago we are changing the description right now. The game runs like ass on firefox though so we would recommend any other browser. Thank you for checking out our game, we def will check yours.

Submitted(+2)

Love the MainMenu screen.
Unfortunately, my game crashed within the first two minutes...

Developer

Hi thank you for playing, game jam ended super early in a day for us and after allnighter we needed some rest. The game has been updated it still have some bugs but you should be able to play it now. We would love to hear from you again ;)
