Thanks for playing! Wow, this is a lot to digest. Quite a bunch of really useful comments too. Thanks a lot!
- Dropping ink effect is actually quite interesting, would look really cool
- We would really want to do lighting, but sadly ran out of time
- The correction mechanic is a but complicate, not going to lie, it requires typing the exact same wrong words, and apparently, this is how real typewriters work. Definitely need a better tutorial teaching that though
- Test paper is a really good idea. Why haven't we thought of that
- The caret (showing where charater goes) probably needs a bit of tuning. Someone else also pointed out that it's hard to see where the current position is at a glance
- Totally forgot about the cap lock key, my bad
- Typing is allowed when zooming in at the typewriter for a smoother correction experience when dealing with multiple letters in the same position, but I guess that might need some more fine-tuning
- Cut scenes (mainly the panel showing correct or incorrect) should stop time and time should not tick, if I am not mistaken / if it's not actually bugged
- My bad for hard-coding the keys in, got some complaints too with AZERTY or QWERTZ keyboard users
Anyway, thanks for the extensive review! This would definitely help a lot
