THIS WAS SO FUN! I really enjoyed the concept. Sorry you guys lost sleep over it but I think theres a lot of replay- ability in this level so great job! It reminds me of sonic but funner concept lol.

Developer

Haha glad to know that the sleep-deprivation was for naught. Lol, we still had a lot of fun making it and learned a lot for our next project. Thanks a lot for playing and really glad you enjoyed it :)

Haha I love the theme a lot. Now I know where my left sock goes when I can't find it! I had a lot of fun playing this and kept trying over and over. I enjoyed the silhoutte you added on the ancient Greek level and I loved the main character. It was enjoyable and funny. It was also cool you added a leaderboard. I probably would have liked to start over at the current level, but I also didn't do that on my game so I understand lol. Overall nice work though, it was very unique and funny concept.

Developer

Thanks, I'm glad you like some of the details we were able to squeeze into there give the time constraints. My wife showed me the background for the greek level and I was like "oh, we should definitely silhouette it" lol.

Yeah i agree, if given more time, I really would have wanted to add a level select to allow people to practice a room, so they can later try the whole circuit for the leaderboard. I have 9 different variations in there, that's a lot for muscle memory to remember all in one go.

Appreciate you giving the game a play and thanks for the nice words.

the controlls are CRIIIIISP!!! my God the gravity feels so fair.

general vibe and colors/music complete this game!

absolute 5/5, gj guys

Developer

Wow, thanks for the raving review! And thanks for giving the game a go :)

I really had fun playing this and trying to beat my own record! The music and atmosphere of the levels are really unique and the little main character dude is well animated! Good job

Developer

Awesome thanks! My wife had a fun time creating the character, despite the time constraints.

Really fun game! The gameplay is super addictive and made me keep want to retrying everytime I failed. The backgrounds are also super cool. The sound effects really add to as they almost feel like part of the song. At first I it took awhile to get used to how the movemnt works since the jump is a little odd but once I got used to it, it was so much fun. Fantastic job!

Developer(+1)

Awesome, really glad you think so. I really aimed to make the retrying seamless so the action could be continuous. Thank you for the compliments :D

The world was a strange place indeed, Thank you for submitting!

Developer

No, thank you for playing :)

An interesting endless runner. The world was a strange place, with an interesting background.

Developer

Thanks for playing :)

Submitted(+1)

Very fun endless runner! I like the theme because I have always wondered where my socks go. The addition of the leaderboard is great! We've been looking into things like this for tracking player retention because only 1/10 people will typically comment and give feedback. Great job!

Developer

Yup, it gnomes...it's always gnomes lol. Thanks for checking it out! We're happy you liked it.

nice game, i really like the snappy jumping
but it is very hard to distinguish foreground from background making it hard to see the path

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the kind words and feedback! This is definitely something we'll be more diligent about in future projects.

The art is so unique! Had alot of fun with this game. Sadly I absolutely suck!

Developer(+1)

It's all good! So glad you were able to enjoy regardless :D

I literally kept laughing while running lmao. And I liked the funny handmade drawings !

Developer

Haha glad you enjoyed it; we had a good time thinking of various silly places. A lot did not make the cut due to the time constraint.

Super fun game! I love the animations of the little character and the expression he makes while jumping.

Developer

Haha thanks. My wife really made him dapper and charming lol. Appreciate the kind words!

This game is addictive! I love arcade games and spent quite a bit of time playing yours! I even made it to 3rd place on the leaderboard (adding it was a great idea).

The only downside is the second location: the character blends in with the background, and the background itself is a bit too aggressive/distracting. But overall, the game feels very nice to play, definitely giving 5 stars for gameplay!

Also, it's cool how the music, background, and general look change with the location. It really adds variety to the gameplay and keeps it from getting boring.

Developer

Thank you for the 5 stars and kind words. Glad you spent some time with it and attained some bragging rights lol.

Thanks for the feedback on the 2nd level. This jam has definitely been a learning experience, and have noting critism for improvement moving forward.

Thanks for playing!

Always love a side-scrolling game; I'm yet to make one.

I liked the art with how the colour popped, but I also found it was hard to focus with the movement.

I got up to I think 28th on the leaderboard.

Developer

Thanks for checking it out! Funny you should mention that, I was actually just trying to make some adjustments to the color a little bit ago but then found out we could no longer resubmit version changes :'(. Glad you were still able to enjoy the art.

Really fun and addictive!

Developer

Glad you think so! Appreciate it :)

Loved the music! Visuals were also nice, and gameplay and controls played their parts in making this a very pleasant little game. Well done to both of you!

Developer

Glad you liked it and super appreciate the kind words! :)

I unfortunately am too bad at these kind of games to get too far, my left socks will forever be missing :(

But I felt like the jumping and landing felt polished and enjoyed playing for a couple of rounds, the art style is really nice although some of the colors and movement can be tough on the eyes

Good Job!

Developer

That's for the feedback! I definitely need to pay attention to contrasting moving forward.

Boogie-dancing dog night club is definitely up there when it comes to strange places hahaha, good call putting it first. Personally the controls felt a bit awkward to me, I would've liked a bit more hang time for short jumps, but it seems I'm a minority.

Developer

Thanks for checking out! :)

Easy to learn with really addicting gameplay loop. The art for the entire game (and animations) felt really unique and good looking and the idea of putting a leaderboard at the end is genius! Really made me try my best to get the highest score (I gave up after seeing how hard it was going to be LOL). Last but not least the audio fitted very well into the game. Good job!

(My highscore is around 7000 if anyone wondering)

The controls were good. Original art style. The procedural level was well made and felt fair and challenging. Some of the ground texture with movement were a bit hard on the eyes and gave me a little headache. Very fun submission though. Congrats!

Developer(+1)

Appreciate you mentioning the level design. I actually spent quite a bit of time creating and balacing 9 different levels. Also, thanks for the feedback on the ground textures and movement. Will definitely look out for that in the future.
