How does the game fit the theme?
i mean the theme is strange places and the whole game is literally the weirdest place most people visit every single night but never pay attention to. the stuff you see when you close your eyes for long enough yk? it happens to everyone, but turning it into a game environment with its own emotions feels strange and brain scratching in the best way.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
none. everything was made procedurally in lua by me :), every procedural shape every shitty little particle, sfx, palette shifts, even the garbage typing sound for text. no ripped sprites or snippets

This game is absolutely stunning. One of the top contenders in this jam for sure! WELL DONE!
Lived the visuals and the theme of the game. The patterns are mesmerizing.
The game is obviously very polished and looks stunning, so I'm going to focus on two things:
1. The audio is super annoying and hurts my ears at times
2. "z" as a keybind is pretty awkward, especially on non-QWERTY layouts

Man I was stuck on the start screen for long. because there was written "Press 2" to proceed. Turns out it was "Press Z". By the way this is a good game and use the theme in a nice way.

Really cool visuals! The audio was a bit unbearable but that's absolutely fine! I really like the deeper meaning this game tries to convey. I hope you get a high place in the jam!

I really liked the concept. As a child I used to be very intrigued by these lights and patterns we see with eyes closed, but I forgot it growing up. This game made me remember it, but now with the perspective of anxiety lol. Pretty good theming, but I honestly think the gameplay could be better!
The idea is very original, and the visuals are quite juicy, kinda reminded me of Swallow the sea, but, the audio was kind of uhhhh bad
I feel like the dialogue between each level is too much and is breaking the flow. Otherwise it's a very unique experience
Pretty unique experience, though this one is more art than game imo since there is not much game to begin with. The graphic and the sounds are great as well, though sometimes a high note can hang in the middle of conversation is a bit odd. The story itself is pretty uplifting and conveys quite a bit in such a short span of time.
Beautiful submission!! Loved the colors and the abstract shapes, really excellently captured the feeling of falling asleep slowly. Well-written too, you can be very proud of yourself!!
Very cool concept and visuals! I enjoyed it a lot, it’s also relatable lol. The high-pitched musical tones can be a bit too annoying sometimes but other than that it’s very good, definitely one of my favorite entries!
Cool looking game, and all procedural, very nice :D Gameplay was simple but polished, the entire game was pretty polished.
One small annoyance though: pausing note of the music in the dialogue really hurt my ears with the high ringing tones some times.
The theme is perfectly applied.

Really great entry. The visuals are cool and the music fits the tone really well.
If I have any feedback I'd say sometimes the on screen text got really muddled with the visuals, and honestly I wish it was a bit harder? With the memories all appearing at the start I often cleared them out without reading them or ever having to interact with an enemy.
Again, excellent entry though - the vibe is spot on.
I liked the theme and the idea. It does give the impression of those shapes when you close your eyes at night, which are strange. Plus some plot was layered over the top, so that was great.
The visuals are apt and that they are generated in code is impressive.
What brought it down for me was the audio. Although the sound was alright and fit the theme while the game was going on, playing a single tone at high volume in my ear while I tried to read the dialogue wasn't something I could push through.
Well done for creating it all yourself in a week!
