This game really needed a tutorial!

It appears to be an interesting strategy game, but from playing it through twice I didn't really get what I was meant to be doing. I think it could be quite fun if I knew what was happening, but none of the mechanics are explained. I don't really get the difference between the three currencies, or what the different location symbols mean (village, mine and forest maybe?).

The game is well polished and the world was quite strange, so good work.

I came.  I saw.  I clicked.  I don't know if I won or lost.

The world was strange and the art was really cohesive and interesting.  I enjoyed the audio and felt it fit with the art.

I wasn't sure what my goal was or what the rules of the game were, but it appeared to be turn based and sometimes clicking on a thing built a path.  I expanded as far as I could between eye taunts, trying to get to my 90 egg goal.  Then the game suddenly ended.  I'm not sure if I was competing with the eyeballs, fighting them, or cooperating with them- or whether the game ended in victory or defeat.  I suspect I lost.

Definitely a strange experience :P

Wow, the art style is really nice, and the game feels polished. I really liked the "I AM ATOMIC" quote

Great game

This is cool and so much for just 1 week. I really like it! Although now I worry about giant eyes coming out of the ground!

Super cool game! It reminds me of the CATAN board game. Awesome stuff man! I did get confused a bit with the abrupt camera changes after each turn. But overall, this is really cool!

Very polished Game!!! It's really incredible what you guys pulled off. Is it randomly generated?

Developer

Yes it is !

I like the concept for the game, definitely a strange place. It took me a bit to understand that the first few goals were the total amount of resources gathered. I would also suggest making the resources a little bit bigger and more visually distinct. At times, it was kind of hard to see what would yield or cost which resource. Making them distinctly different colors would also help with that. Great job on your game!

Visuals

1 ... (main): play, quit is hardly visible -> fix:

1.1 . (main): lighter color adjustment

1.2 . (main): blur, darken BG (world map)

1.3 . (main/game over): result -> GUI gain a lot of visibility

2 ... aesthetics fits together +1

3 ... adjust GUI padding (text inside box is not sometimes fully inside and some times half-half)

4 ... camera teleport is sometimes too harsh (insta teleport)

5 ... add animations -> some parts feels little static

6 ... those moving "humans" from A to B town -> gives a lot of motion

7 ... maybe animate border shadows:

7.1 . opacity 0.2 -> 0.7

7.2 . noise distortion shader

Design

1 ... interesting ending -> it has some personal touch

2 ... I ignored this eye text. But mostly texts are short

Controls

1 ... mouse hover/click -> responsive

Sound

1 ... (main): fits very well

2 ... (game): very good fits theme well

I think: "Game sound is stronger aspect of this game"

Good job

The graphics are very good and the idea is interesting, my only problem is that it is sometimes a bit hard to read what's going on the screen. Good job!

I really, really like the game I've just played. Visuals and sound effects are super nice. I like the simple pixel style. I like that you are getting a bit nervous knowing about the boss. I didn't fully understand the gameplay mechanic and was trying to pick up as many "villages" with production as possible. Great job, guys; that is a good game!

Two (and a half) guys made this masterpiece in only one week ? I'm amazed. The design seems to be the perfect fusion between Age of Wonders and WorldBox. After a short period in order to understand the mechanics, the game becomes addictive (especially when you realize combos are a thing). Can't wait to play again :)

Impressive that all the music textures shaders and code were all made during the jam. Super cool. Super polished feeling game too!

Really well polished. I'll echo some other commenters about how to play being confusing at start, but really impressive accomplishment in such a short period of time.

Wow, that was a game with incredibly addictive gameplay. You nailed aesthetics as well. The one thing I would add is total turn counter and maybe just some kind of ending after some turn with option for continuing. And maybe some speed up/skip for animations since after a while it takes sometime. But regardless it's a fantastic game. Good work!
