How does the game fit the theme?
You play as an unassuming houseplant who is accidentally launched into space, then ends up in a random warehouse, before, if you survive, making it home again!
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
None - all from scratch.

I really enjoyed this game!
LOVE the concept! Really exciting idea you have here and good job on all the visuals. I did find the roots a bit glitchy to and got stuck quite a few times without the ability to make new roots so I could have used a reset level button. I would love to see some more advanced puzzles - I think this is a concept you could turn into something super fun!
Thanks so much! I'm working on new puzzles for a post-jam version.
Nice puzzle game with some creative ideas, it will be great to see some more levels of this. It did take me a few attempts to work out how the roots needed to be drawn as I tried going to the cup of water and only a single line would show, but I see you're working on a fix for this already.
Thank you!
Gameplay: The overall concept is very interesting and I enjoyed it once I understood what to do. Feedback; this type of game would benefit from a tutorial level.
Visual: The environments were easy to understand. Feedback; make the roots a straight cylinder instead of the zig zag lines. Not sure if that was a bug, but it would help with visual clarity.
Innovation: I really loved how unique this concept was. Feedback: The mechanics with the light moving and the light having cones should be mixed to provide variety, complexity, and a better overall visual understanding of the game. Either I failed horribly, or I blew through the level with ease.
Overall: I really enjoyed experiencing this game. The concept alone had my mind going down rabbit holes of possibility. Great job!!
Thanks so much for the feedback. Your note about the roots is a great point. I definitely need to tune the difficulty, and I have a bunch of ideas to move it forward. Really glad you enjoyed it!
I wasn't really able to understand how to properly grow my roots, sometimes I could click and drag to water but other times I couldn't
Thanks for playing! There is a bug in the collision with the items that should be obstacles, which makes it confusing. I am working on a fix. Appreciate the feedback!
Interesting game! I completed both easy and hard modes.
It took a little while at the beginning to understand how everything works, and I didn’t really notice much of a difficulty increase in hard mode. I would suggest making the mechanics a bit clearer and increasing the difficulty more in hard mode. :)
Thanks for playing, those are both great feedback items. This was my first completed Game Jam and I learned a ton. Looking at other games submitted, I can see you're right. I have some great ideas based on player feedback on how to clean up and fix some of the aspects of this game for a post-jam release. And I have a better idea what to focus on for the next jam. It's a process :) And I really appreciate the comments!
Awesome! Sounds like a really successful jam for you ✨ Best of luck with future updates to this game and your next game jams!
Clever idea with controlling the roots of a plant, never seen that done before! A bit unclear on what was happening at times, for example on the level with the moving spotlight I just turned the plant towards the right and the lightmeter went to 100 even though the light was not hitting me.
Thanks! Yes there were some issues there to work out for sure. I got stuck on a couple of technical issues early on and had to rush the end. I am currently putting together a bug fix for the light beam. Thanks again for the feedback!
Great game all around, unique to control where the roots grow. Bit short of a game though.
Thanks for playing! Yes, I had plans for more levels and another plant (spider plant) with some different mechanics, but my focus was to get out at least a playable game. There are a few things I would have changed, but this jam was a great learning experience. Appreciate the feedback.
nice idea
Thank you!
As Daenvil said, the roots where challenging, but once I got the hang of it I managed to work through. Enjoyed the concept and what you managed to do in the jam!
Thanks so much, it's my first time completing a jam and I learned a ton. The community and the feedback has been amazing.
I really like the idea but I can’t figure out how to grow roots to where I want to. It looks like they just form a bunch of zigzagging lines when I press the mouse button and then it doesn’t let me grow anymore. Do you know what I’m doing wrong?
Thanks for playing my game! The computer and the wastebasket are meant to block the roots, but I think I may have a bug with the collusion areas being a little too large. If you click and drag the left mouse, you should be able to draw the zigzagging lines to one of the water sources (in the first Office level, try going to the watering can on the top of the bookshelf), and see if that works?
Oh I see. It wasn’t obvious that the computer and the whiteboard were blocking me. Now I got it, thanks!
