Really liked the voice acting, interesting story and puzzles. It was a fun experience that left me wanting more. Level was pretty dark in some spots and hard to see. A brightness setting would have helped a lot. Still really great entry, liked it a lot.
I really liked playing this one! A more narrative drive experience is perfectly fine and between the voice acting, the graphics and the mistery it truly flowed together in a nice manner. I don't really have a whole lot to comment on so keep it up! It felt pretty interestinga and i could see a bigger game coming out of this!
Very beautiful DA. Im a very big fan of PS1 visuals like. It's impressive for a jam. Good job !
The entire atmosphere of the game was really nice. It really fits the theme well, The voice over was just amazing. Great work overall
Nice visuals, very twisted to solve the puzzle, very strange :D
Very cool experience! Left me wanting to learn more about what was going on. Saw the instructions on how to make fuel, veeeery strange...
Others have mentioned the voice acting so I don't have too much to add about that except it was a great addition. I haven't seen that done in a lot of other Jam entries and it didn't feel too cheesy (always a risk when adding it in).
Also I love that you can flush the toilet. So simple and unnecessary but a great detail haha. Well done!
Wow! super cool aesthetic and fun part 1 to your game. Can't wait to see where the story goes :) Also the voice acting was amazing!
That pure dopeness. Exactly what i love. PSX, mysterious narrative, incredible voice acting. Congrats, for real.
Feel free to test our game !
DAMN! I love the gore, I like the atmosphere, the overall vibes are SICK! I can't believe you made this in a week! I absolutely loved the mystery! From the moment I started, it felt tense and unsettling in the best way, and exploring the world kept pulling me forward because I genuinely wanted to know what happened. The sound design and visuals work really well together, and the whole experience just feels polished and intentional. Every new detail made things creepier.. Honestly my only issue is that it ended so soon, it feels like it’s just getting started when it’s over. This could easily turn into a full game I’d play day one. Amazing job.
ALSO, if you like brain-teasing puzzle platformers make sure to check out our game!
Great game! I didn't expect the gore and the crime scenes, but the atmosphere is definitely there and I loved the low-res 3D
Wow! The fact you were able to create this immersive and detailed world in a week is awesome! The story and intrigue was also top tier, I just wish you had more time to get further into it! ;)
I know it's definitely been mentioned, but the frozen birds outside were a top-tier detail. When I saw them, I thought it was simply an unfinished part of the game, but when the twist was revealed, it all made sense. Those types of details are what make mysteries so good, keep adding them!
I'm sorry, but for me it did'nt show anything but a black screen after the clock, and so I could'nt rate it, I even reopened it a few times, or I'm just really stupid.
have you tried the downloadable version or just the web version?
the web version unfortunately can be quite buggy depending on your system if this happened with the downloadable version it would be great if you could send me the game logs
This is so cool! I love horror type stuff. Wandering outside before I went in I made a mental note of some pigeons being stuck in a weird half-flying state, but then when I went in and saw it was time-stop, it made total sense! It was great attention to detail. My only complaint would be the loading/unloading of assets, it seemed like everything wanted to load only when I was staring right at it, and wouldn't load until I was already looking at it. But maybe it's because I played in browser instead of downloading? Regardless, I look forward to seeing what y'all do with this!
thanks for playing and the feedback :) , yeah our browser version is not perfect and we found out that some browsers lead to render issues.
Hopefully we can fix all that in the future.
Wow, what a wonderful job! I really enjoyed the voice acting. The voices were very expressive, and you could feel the protagonist's anguish at discovering the truth in the end. I hope the full game comes out, because it deserves it. It's very good.
Good job! The game is really creepy, especially when you're isolated in a place where everyone is frozen in time. The voice acting is great, and there are lots of nice little details throughout. Even the lack of toilet paper in the bathroom is absolutely horrifying!
Really cool game!
Love the atmosphere. The artstyle end voice acting are really cool. personally I find the pixelation effect a bit to much felt exhausting on the eyes after a while.
I can't say anything about the gameplay, but its very promising.
Great work, keep it up :)
THE ATMOSPHERE? EXQUISITE? SLAY? YES? (begging for a free copy when yalls go big on steam thanks JKJKJKJK)
Nice job on putting together a first-person 3D experience for the jam. That alone is a solid undertaking.
The story actually kept me curious. I wanted to keep exploring just to figure out what was going on with the gas station and what the deal was with the place. The mystery element worked well and fit the theme nicely.
Also, kudos on getting voice work in there. That adds a lot to immersion, especially in a slower, exploratory game like this.
The core loop was mostly explore, find something, use it, move forward, which worked well for the kind of experience you were going for. And I saw the note about continuing with further updates. This definitely feels like something that could grow into a bigger project.
Great entry for the jam!
Wow. That’s some next-level work you’ve all done. Special respect for the voice-over and the character voices — they really immerse you in the game, and overall everything is very well made.
After the jam, I’d recommend polishing the game if you’re planning to promote it further
