The blue tiles were exciting, strange, and fascinating elements to add to this tileset. I now want to begin getting "fired up!" (no pun intended) into including some red hues into this tileset.

This 14-colour palette leaves lots of room for unique ideas.
But I want to start with something simple.
These four colours stood out to me, and so I started a typical mockup in 32x32 tiles with a 2px brush, and then scaled it down to 16x16.

I like this so far. It has interesting characteristics, feels original, and adds flair to the tileset. It could be anything from a white-hot ventilation system to a furnace!
The possibilities are endless! Surprise me!
