I like the flexibility of the challenge options and the way the dice step up!

Initially, the concept of one winner at the end felt a little jarring to me. But it does increase the strategy for the whole thing, so I think it works!

This feels like one of those Disney / Nickelodeon / Netflix animated shows of the last decade or so that my teen daughter loves - kawaii on the surface, teeth and heart underneath.

LOL so first off, I love your cover. And the gist of this system is great, too: it's like a mad-libbing adventure! The trio of rabbits (including one monster) is a fun twist, too, as you want it to become monstrous enough to protect you from the wolf attack, but not so monstrous that it reaches 5+ and eats your rabbits instead 😅 My only qualm is that, in your list of verbs, a lot of those aren't verbs. "Toxic" and "Suspicious," for example, are adjectives. "Oozing" and "Suspecting" would work, though :D Or you could expand that section to include adjectives, because "Broken Bridge" is at least an equally tough threat for rabbits as, like, "Swaying Bridge." And "Massive Shark" is at least as scary as "Hungering Shark."

With that said, this is a silly, fun, unique, inventive adventure. Something I've come to expect from you, and you definitely didn't disappoint! Especially with the incredibly little amount of time you took, my goodness!! 😮

Thank you.  I love the cover too. <3 Your compliments mean a lot to me. I know it is cliche but I do work better under pressure. I tend to procrastinate and lighting a fire under my own butt is the best way for me to get most things done. It can backfire.  You, as usual, are right about the verbs. One of the reasons I like entering your jams so much is the feedback you and Angel give it is always helpful. I will be sure to update the list of verbs. :)

Oh wow, well yay! Goodness, first the day-making comment on our game, and now this too 🧡 This is 100% why we run jams, honestly: so we can all uplift and encourage each other!

Also, I didn't wanna comment on it because it was a reply to Angel's comment, but I saw you talk about narrative in games. I just wanted to say that you really seem to have that down! Your last Ludum Praxi game where you play out the three cyclical stories that lead to one another was so cool like that, and now this one is really epic there too. Narrative is no doubt a specialty of yours 🙌🥳

And YES omg I swear, if not for a deadline, I'd never get anything done 😅😅😅😅 I try to share my goals for each day and week publicly, too, so I feel ashamed if I don't complete stuff lol

Ahaha, poor bunnies. But it does capture the vibe of watership down really well, you did such a good job :)

Thank you. I appreciate you kind words.

Oh boy, this is brutal... My poor vegan heart, hahaha

I really like that it's competitive, and I like the 'party game' elements. Fun concept!

Developer

Thank you. It hurts my heart too. <z3

Your scenario creates a nice framework for the player to use their imagination and for the gameplay to go where it may. It makes for a lot of variable replayability.

I think the tenth challenge adds a lot to the player strategy level of the game. There’s a tiny window for getting those poor bunnies to survive.

Thank you. :) I have spent a lot of time in the narrative side of game design. My top priority was making a game that could tell a wide range of stories.
