How does the game fit the theme?
You are a top chef with a great restaurant, but you bump your head on a tree and forget all your recipes!

To get your memory back, you don't explore a normal kitchen or town. Instead, you go to a very strange place: inside your own mind! The whole game takes place in your weird, dreamy thoughts, where you have to run around and collect ingredients.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
We made everything from scratch (cuz we are goated)

I dig the aesthetics as well as the gameplay. I do believe it has huge potential to be a sandbox/restaurant sim if you wish to go beyond just "finding recipes".

I like how you need to physically explore the environment to get ingredients. Would love to see rare ingredients being placed on difficult places that requires you to do platforming or other risky maneuver. Gameplay itself is intuitive and the controls make sense. However, there are little things that annoys me. Having to go through portals multiple times just to grab a 4 items each trip is a little tedious. A backpack would surely make the experience better. And you can add mechanism to it such as making it weigh you down if you put too many ingredients in them. But other than that it is quite enjoyable.

I would also suggest adding more content regarding what you can do with the food you make. Having a restaurant sim attached to it might make the expiration and experimentation more meaningful (like how Dave the Diver does it).

Gorgeous game, and I loved the music. I could not play as much as I wanted because the mouse sensitivity was wayyyy too high on my computer. Looks like there is a ton of content with how many unknown recipes I had left over

What cool execution of a cool concept! Love the visuals and music. The movement was a little much sometimes so I would recommend adding a little friction to it, especially since we're playing POV, and it would be great if the size of the inventory could be increased since the back-and-forth between the ingredients island and the cooking island can get a tiny bit tedious. Nevertheless, solid game!
